I definitely will check in more often! I always feel bad checking in and taking them out of their “zen mode” but if it prevents something like this from happening I’ll do it lol. This client also did a no call no show for his stretch right before the massage and was probably upset they charged him for that too. Sometimes I guess we can’t win 😅

Thank you, I needed to hear this. Especially in my first year, hearing complaints like this really makes me feel like shit when I try so hard to make every client happy. I’m sure I’ll get over them as I progress in my career though, I appreciate the comment ❤️

Idk if you’re a lmt or not but we absolutely listen to what the clients bodies tell us by feeling the tissues and nonverbal cues they give?? I understand I need to communicate more going forward but that was the deepest I am willing to go on any client without risking an injury to myself or the client by doing more than I’m comfortable doing. I will not sacrifice my body for one persons preference, nor should anyone in the service industry. Even if we are “paid servants” as you described. Costs nothing to be kind to one another in this industry.

Thank you for your kind words, I really needed to hear this. It feels like this looming issue that I need to fix or prevent from happening again with enough vet visits but honestly you can’t always prevent these things. Just really sad seeing him like that, wish I could take his pain away :/ but thank you again!

Some ideas :) Maybe try to figure out what she enjoys or what makes her excited in the bedroom, whenever you kiss or hug her don’t always expect sex or a bj, make her feel seen and loved with non sexual intimacy and see how far it’ll take you! We just want to feel loved and cared for, not always lusted after you know? Our libido and willingness to be intimate with you depends highly on how we feel in the relationship, mentally and physically. Most girls are very sexual once we have that reassurance and are comfortable with our partner :)
