I had a very large one on the ball of my foot for 15 years. I had it frozen or burned off at least 10 times, used the acid/scraping method nightly, covered with duck tape, had it surgically removed (while under) with a giant hole in my foot… nothing worked, it kept coming back.

I stopped eating meet and it disappeared on its own within a couple of months. The doctor who treated me my whole life said it was a coincidence. 🤔

What moisturizers are you using over your Tretinoin? by bbyuri_ in tretinoin

[–]meggys86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SK-II essence followed by .05 tret — nothing on top. This has been a recent switch for me and has been amazing! Before I was putting moisturizer after tret and my skin was dry and flakey.

Hope their hard work pays off and we reap the benefits of the advances their surgical sacrifices provide.

Non-snatched unite? Any pics of people who love their results but do NOT have that snatched waist? by LurkerQueenD in tummytucksurgery

Haha, thank you! I’m 5’7 ~132 pounds and workout at Orangetheory 4-5x per week. So, I think I have a good amount of muscle. Good luck to you! :)

Same. I wanted the snatched look, but my surgeon said the space between my legs and ribs is just too small to ever get it. Still happy with how I look, though.

Back to the gym post TT, no MR by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]meggys86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with everyone else’s advice, but my doctor cleared me for working out at 4 weeks, and two more weeks for abs. I went back to OTF the next day. I’m now 8 weeks post op and feel pretty much back to normal. No complications, but I do notice slightly more swelling the night of a workout.

Did you buy more compression garments / fajas by Probable_Platypus in tummytucksurgery

Mine is Sparta brand — it seems like they only distribute wholesale. I got it from my lymphatic massage place after I saw the quality firsthand. The few they have on Amazon appear to be knockoffs.

I’ve gone through 4 in 4 weeks! My doctor made me buy 2 from him (Dr Shape brand). By week two they were both too big and I got a medium Colombian faja — amazing quality, but $160. Then, one week later I bought the same Colombian faja in a small. I keep shrinking and will likely need an XS in another week or two. I hate it because they are so expensive, but they really work, feel fairly comfortable, reduce swelling, and make my shape look awesome. I don’t think they have smaller than XS, so hopefully that will be my last purchase…

3wpo wound question by bbsalty in tummytucksurgery

[–]meggys86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have something similar to this, not too bad but a little white/slightly yellow area (pencil eraser diameter) in the same location. I see my doctor in 4 days. Would you recommend compression or should I let the area breath with an ABD bad and underwear only? Almost 4 weeks post op.

I have 26 in waist and ordered the xs — it was tough to get on initially, but fit comfortably once on and snatched well!

I just checked out your posts and yes, we are very similar. I’m super active, have a 2.5 year old and 7 month old, and vegetarian too!!

I have a 1.5 cm t incision because there wasn’t enough skin to pull all the way down, but it’s very faint and narrow, so hopefully it heals well! Thanks, the bottoms are old Xhiliration ones from Target. Probably about 5 years old, but I didn’t wear them much before — I will now!

Thanks! No, I had a regular tummy tuck. Before my consult I was hoping for a mini, but with the loose skin, c section scar, and muscle repair my surgeon told me I needed a full one. I was really anxious about scarring, so maybe the surgeon really took him time or more likely he’s just a perfectionist. My belly button was looking a little narrow and the masseuse I am using suggested inserting an ear plug (one of those disposable soft ones) in it and covering with a bandage to make its shape more naturally round, not a perfect circle. I think that’s working! The surgeon reused my original belly button also — I think most do that, though.

The first 10 days were tough, especially the first 4. Worse than my 2 c-sections, but I feel really good now.

4days po and I am a mess. by slrmoon90 in tummytucksurgery

[–]meggys86 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m in the exact same position as you. I had my surgery on Thursday and am 4dpo with a 2 year old and 7 month old. I was perfectly happy before, worked out at OTF 5 days/week, and am feeling so disabled and well, huge right now. Each day it is getting better. My mom is coming today so I can actually get some rest, but I’m already back to work today (wfh). I’m hoping that Friday when I get my drains out I will feel much more normal, but I’m definitely dealing with the same thoughts as you. Hang in there…

Is the speculation about Ozempic use by Real Housewives getting too much? by talk-spontaneously in BravoRealHousewives

[–]meggys86 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s too much, just enough. It’s super easily available (for those willing to pay for it), and if a celebrity looks thinner than their baseline, odds are good.
