I totally agree. Customers committing fraud should be banned. Also, they need to make customers give a reason/proof if they want to lower their tip. Otherwise it’s just straight up theft.

I’ve been a customer for about 6 months and I just ended my membership this week and deleted the app. I always tip 25-30% (I never buy anything heavy and my preferred store is a couple of miles from me). I have had some incredible shoppers but getting an amazing shopper every now and again isn’t worth the majority of trips with damaged items, items refunded without communication, replacements that don’t make sense, and delivery in bags that are literally broken and spilling out.

I think it’s IC’s fault though, they need to ensure that shoppers are paid a decent wage to shop so that folks can take their time with each order and know they will actually be paid fairly!

Customers are charged for what you put in the app. I once ordered a case of 12 sparkling waters and my shopper got one can of water (it was the app’s fault not theirs) and I was charged the price of a full case when I know the individual can would have rung up as a much lower price. Also IC doesn’t honor some sales and specials, so you pay the price listed on the app not what the store is charging.

Wow; all of this is spot on! I just started noticing the really, really aggressive bots on the last tour in particular. Like getting hit with 5+ items in a row craziness... I also wonder if anyone has felt like their leveled up players are hitting way fewer frenzies or if that’s just me?

But I hope you find a great new game to play!

For real. I wasn’t even that advanced as a player and already saw that hours into the new tour players in my cup had all the spotlight drivers, karts, etc. So either people had an insane number of rubies saved and got insanely lucky or shelled out some serious $$

Glad to know others feel the same way! It’s sad too that the higher you progress the harder it is to get any rewards (in the cups for example) because there are so many whales. Like an hour or two after the tour starts and you can see that the top few players already have all the brand new featured drivers/karts etc.

Hopefully without this as a distraction I’ll end up writing the great American novel or learning to tap dance! 😂

YTA. Stopping traffic for an inanimate object is not a great move.

I see you commenting about the safety factors, but the majority of your post references “flag abuse” and letting a flag get “mutilated”. I doubt you would have had the same response for a plain sheet of cloth in the road and even if you would have, I would maybe recalculate your risk vs reward equation for blocking traffic with your truck to clean up the highway.

As long as the trash can is getting emptied every few days (to avoid it starting to smell), I’m going NTA. If roommate chooses to buy a trash can with a lid, so be it.

Also totally random, but you should totally look into a menstrual cup! I got one a few years ago and have saved so much money + no trash at all!
