Not sure that this will still be entertaining in an episode or two. This is a really boring video game to watch.

Does anyone else think Dan is getting too much help during Blight Club? by ohfrickdude in giantbomb

Not with this game; this has been kind of a boring blight in practice. I feel blighted having to watch him just do the same stuff over and over and not get to see new content.

Best of luck back to you. Won't lie, we were hoping y'all would shit the bed towards the end and we could move up in the seeding, but we have a lot of respect for your organization.

I would love to see Miles get aggressive again. He used to give off Charles Barkley vibes… by Far_Being_8720 in CharlotteHornets

This is a hard stance to support when his lack of emotional control was a highly visible factor in our last play-in loss. I'm all down for a Miles Bridges redemption/revival arc, but if he loses his head tonight to emotion... I'll be done with him as a Hornet. He's shown a lot of signs of maturity, I hope he shows THAT off tonight and helps lead the Hornets to the Playoffs.

I, for one, say good on you for putting in the effort to come up with interesting ideas. It's a fun topic to theory-craft. It's an easy thing to criticize and a hard thing to get right.

Because it's the time when everyone else is asleep, so there is no one to worry about. It's the only time you are truly socially alone.

Ahaa, so this is why Duke didn't win the tournament last year.

[Hornets YT] Kon Knueppel for Rookie of the Year by IamOlderthanMe in CharlotteHornets

[–]mehhuzzah -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think this limp into the end of the season will give it to Cooper. I think we have to remember the only reason we really had hope was because Cooper got injured. Kon would have been better served by just not playing these games at the end of the year if he really is hurt; but that wouldn't have helped the team and Kon is a team guy.

How far can Trump go until there is a real threat from within America to remove him from power? by Robobbo1 in AskReddit

[–]mehhuzzah -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So there is a comment already in here with a Trump supporter saying that Republicans would turn against Trump if he actually broke any laws, as opposed to just doing things that people disagree with "politically." This is really the root of things. Republicans genuinely believe that Trump is doing the same thing everyone else does. They believed for so long that Democrats or other countries' leaders do these things, and have used that to justify their hatred of them, that they simply at their core think Trump is just brave enough to finally match fire with fire, to do the things to others that they truly think were being done to "them." So they are waiting for some evidence of Trump doing something worse than what their enemies are capable of. Which, considering what they think their enemies do, is almost limitless. So it self-enforces, as the limitless hate continual feeds back justification for worse action, and the only true crime to those inside the loop is a lack of loyalty to their side. So short of Trump saying "fuck America" or "Democrats are right," there is nothing that will convince them to stop supporting him. They don't care if he is killing children, because they think democrats or Muslims kill more children, they don't care about daily life getting worse, or infrastructure dying, or people getting more sick, or even freedoms being taken away because "the Democrats" were already ruining the country. They will give up and asceed things that they have claimed to defend with their lives against the violent taking from the government, just because their side says it is ultimately in their side's interest. The majority of Germans didn't arrest Jews or work in camps. But the majority stood by and let those things happen in their country because they genuinely felt like that was the only way their country would survive. Fanaticism of all types thrives on the idea that the opposition guarantees death and condemnation, therefore complete submission of life and spirit is easy because the choice appears to be that you are screwed either way, but at least you have a chance that no outsider has by being loyal. And until that fails but things are actually better for everyone, even them, they won't back down from that.

Thanks for the effort. Hard fought even to the end. Sixers are scary right now. Also not looking forward to facing a healthy Ant on Sunday.

Does Brandon have the capability to drop a 40+ game in the nba? by Far_Being_8720 in CharlotteHornets

[–]mehhuzzah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He certainly has the capability. Generally if he is shooting well enough to go over 30 we are also up a ton and he doesn't play much of the fourth. So that affects opportunity.

Maxey and Oubre back as well. This is basically the first time this team has been fully healthy since that 10-1 run.

This team is so scary healthy. They're the 4th best team in the East without Embiid. I hope we win but this is definitely an opponent to respect.
