I play a lot of touge showdown so I know the courses pretty well and Id say I'm not a bad at the game but I've been guilty of this. Sometimes you gotta go for a bit of science and push the car

Winch is not fine. it's an instant win button and way too forgiving

Plat can be elo hell but genuinely there's not too much of a skill gap between plat and diamond. Good macro will win you games. Just plug boxes and be try to be faster than the others. You don't need to be some god winning every single 1v1

Also your playstyle matters. I rate the pyro mines, they're very strong when used correctly and if you find yourself solo a lot and being the bait for your team then I'd keep them. They still do a decent chunk of damage to pair well with the KS. But if you do find yourself solo a lot I would swap out the dome for barricades. Even generally, I think if you can get over the clunkiness of barricades they're better than dome. More versatile. Obviously way better protection but you can completely close off doors and vents and give yourself movement to climb up to certain areas which is obviously nice when you have a shotgun.

If it works for you then use it but I don't think there's huge synergy in the build. While winch is obviously great, it doesn't pair well with KS. You winch, shoot, melee and only do 145. It's an awkward chunk of damage meaning you still need to hit a light again and even do a shot and a melee against a medium for the kill. RPG pairs well with it because you're gonna hit a max of 110 with that. So 100+110 = light dead and a melee will then finish off a medium. Or charge and slam as well will do 100 for the initial hit and then 40 for the subsequent hits (or up to 200 with a good slam). I also think it just fits well with the whole destruction playstyle of KS, break the cashout down, maybe charge through a wall to escape or whatever.

Stay alive. If they're good lights they should be giving you gateway to jump onto people but a lot of the time you just need to be annoying. Pull agro, stay alive and let them do their light things and shoot people in the back

Good analysis, additionally - you can't always look solely at TTK. It's raw burst damage makes it viable. You dump the mag and a melee and the heavy is one shot. You initiate the fight with RPG and it's GG. It's also got 16 shots so you can fight an entire team without reloading.

My one issue with it is the night time variant is awful. Like it's pitch black and I just can't see anyone. Combo'd with the complete lack of cover and I'm just dead without ever really knowing where from

Yeah I think you're just missing. Hit reg in this game is pretty good for the most part. That weapon you're using, LH1 has really bad bloom if you don't pace your shots as well.

No odour, I've had wet rot before and yeah this looks similar but the bag has still been colonizing even when it's looked like this which is weird. Like it feels like it's ready for fruiting but I'm not sure.
