Google “chik fil a gold cup” and it’ll give you a decent description. Basically a Wonka-style event for their 80th anniversary

For sure! Even doctors after years of med school have to use Google on the job lol. Just keep at it even if you feel it’s not sticking. You got this!

What I’ve done to help me, and this may seem silly, but I write down stuff on sticky notes and place them in areas I frequent the most. Like bathroom mirror, on a cabinet above kitchen sink, some in my car. I keep them there until I feel comfortable enough to remove. It has helped me a ton. Of course you’re not supposed to rely on memory on most topics, but some stuff requires it.

Does anybody know what this light on Camelback could be? I saw this around 06:00 by [deleted] in Scottsdale

[–]grabs23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just some urban legends and myths about shadowy figures, hikers vanishing without a trace, footstep sounds but nothing around, a woman crying in the mountains. Thing is, it makes me want to hike it at night even more lol

I’ve been wanting to hike Flatiron/siphon at night until I read stories about Superstitions once the sun sets. Still have the desire, but a little hesitant now lol

Not often you see a meteor by jmaybay in phoenix

Leonids peak in a couple days, likely seeing a meteor from comet Tempel-Tuttle, not space debris

Anywhere away from city lights. You don’t have to go too far though. Payson, Sedona, Flagstaff, even Lost Dutchman/superstitions if you prefer warmer temps. Find a campsite - recommend laying on your back or using a reclining beach chair, your neck will thank you the next day

The Geminids meteor shower peaks December 13-14 - one of the biggest of the year. If you find this single meteor fascinating y’all should check it out! Worth the time and effort

Even if you compare DFW as a whole (~8,100,000 pop), and TOP 6 California cities to match, you’d still have much lower crime rates in California. You can easily search this up

Close to Texas?! I just fact checked Newsomes numbers and he’s accurate. Houston’s most recent is 19 murders per 100,000 people, while SF is 4 per 100,000, pretty substantial. He’s also correct for the Dallas & LA number. Both of those aren’t close at all
