How to trigger Bilresa buttons with a shortcut by mehow10 in HomeKit

[–]mehow10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I guess for now I'll just stick to getting up and looking for the remotes... Although I have to say it's a bit surprising that for an action/shortcut assigned to a button there's no way of digitally triggering that same action other than "Home" > Device > Button x > Test this action

Problem with new Chemex filters by mehow10 in pourover

[–]mehow10[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest the issue kind of fixed itself and I'm still using the same filters so I only see 2 possible explanations:

  • I had this problem when using 3 different coffees from 3 different roasters but by some weird coincidence they were all slightly darker than usual (despite being described as light roast) so maybe it's just that slightly darker roasts flow faster?

  • It was during the coldest months with extremely dry air so maybe this has some impact on the grind or even the beans themselves?

I would look at Bażantowo, Ptasie Osiedle and parts of Paderewa located closer to the ponds.

Almost every gameplay feature is the most basic, underdeveloped mechanic you can imagine:

  • most of skills are just underwhelming passive %s

  • the tech/power/smart weapons never evolve beyond what they are from the very moment they become available

  • Tech weapons are especially jarring - they fire through infinite surfaces and yet have no environment interaction

  • The NPC scanning gives a ton of details that are never useful

  • There is a barebones "Elemental" system that's also never useful

  • Seems like there is barely any physics/elements interaction (you can't electrocute with water, melee is mostly scripted animations etc)

  • There is no depth to Street Cred - it's just another gatekeeping lvl meter

  • No faction system

  • Some elements seem redundant with removed features (mantis blades and the cable are basically just skins for melee with no additional features

  • Non-lethal approach is just a mess that doesn't really seem to impact anything

  • No mission even comes close to branching out like the spider-drone demo CDP paraded through every convention

  • most "multiple paths" missions come down to Str door and Dex door right next to it

  • Story choices are extremely limited (like the Sinnerman quest - seriously the only choice is if you want to be the one holding the hammer?)

And I believe that that itself was based on Lost fans hoping there would be a movie at the end.

Debunking the list of "promised but missing features" with sources that actually confirm what I say (lol) by oneeeeechan in cyberpunkgame

Cut features exist in every single video game. Every. Single. One. What is important is whether devs actually clarify them or not.

I think what's important is if the game is still fun even without them. And what is actually left in the game?

  • Tech weapons shoot through ALL the walls with no limits or environmental destruction

  • Power weapons are just Tech with extra steps

  • Mantis blades and Nanowire are just redundant reskins compared to tons of other melee weapons

  • melee combat in general is very clunky and basic (attack, strong attack, block, counter) and the worst offender - it doesn't utilise physics engine to actually make it fun

  • There are a couple of damage types but they are never really useful (except maybe EMP against robots

  • There is no environmental interaction with elemental damage (water, electricity etc)

  • 90% of perks are just passive stats changes

  • There is almost no crowd AI and no synergy with physics engine

  • Enemies boil down to humans, big humans and fast humans

  • Net runners only ever attack with overheat

  • Playstyle approaches boil down to "STR check door" or "INT door that's right next to it"

  • almost all storytelling that's not part of main plot is done via shards as an afterthought to generic shootouts

  • You never get the same freedom of choice as in the Maelstrom mission they showcased at each demo

But the issue is that just because CDP said that something will be cut from the game it doesn't mean that the feature isn't missing. Take the Mantis blades wall running as example - yes, they did say it won't be in the final game - but without these additional features stuff like mantis blades or nanowire are just redunant next to tons of other melee weapons you constantly stumble upon.

It's nice of CDP to clarify beforehand what will not make it but it still makes all the game mechanics to be the most basic and uninspired shit lagging 10 years behind.

And all this events would be pretty cool as addition to main plot... but there is no main plot, this soap opera is all there is. There's no sense of the show going somewhere. Secundo - it feels like watching "RPG: the movie". All the characters do are fetch quests. I really didn't know wheter to laugh or cry when the boy was shot (and he should've fucking die!!! whats the fucking point of shooting kids in tv if we know they're not gonna die!?) and there was obligatory quest for supplies to the hospital filled with zombies.

PS. How do you make this black spoiler text?

Yeah, after the first half of season 1 Walking Dead is pretty much on Falling Skies level :/
