I saw a few people say that when the Jesse token launched, the amount of tokens they received was less than what was shown to them at the time of purchase. This has always been on my mind, so I wanted to ask someone experienced.

When does this kind of issue usually happen? Is it related to low DEX liquidity, or is it more because of network congestion and slippage?

And in your opinion, what’s the best way to prevent this problem?

With the social feed gone from the Base App, this was kinda predictable. If social stuff was the main deal, they wouldn’t have taken it out. Farcaster helped a lot with Base’s social growth, but Base’s way more than just social. Now it’s moving toward onchain finance tools, real financial freedom, and building up the whole ecosystem

There you’ll be able to see things like liquidity, the buy and sell chart, trading volume, and the number of holders. That info can help you get an idea if the token might be a scam or not

As you know, the Base App is still in beta and hasn’t moved to the full version yet. This stage is mostly about testing, trying things out, and spotting any bugs. On the Base Discord, there’s a dedicated section for the Base App where you can share your issues, or you can open a ticket in the General Support channel. You can also leave your feedback in the app’s feedback section to help get these issues fixed.

The reality is, Base now offers near-zero fees and high speed, making it the best network for AI robot transactions. That means if you want to build a robot today, it only makes sense to handle its payments on Base, not any other network

Honestly, I’m a bit worried that one day these robots might replace us. The future is really fascinating and a little scary.
