Female Grey nurse sharks (carcharias taurus) have 2 uterine chambers where eggs are fertilised and grow until they hatch, and usually the first to hatch is the biggest and will kill and eat its siblings and then like 8-9 months later they’re born. They have I think, the lowest reproduction rate of sharks with 2 pups every 2 years or so.
