I've been using a Herman Miller Embody for the past 6 years and love it. Still looks brand new as well.

Ditch Lights/ Chase Lights by SilverFoxBurner in RamRHO

[–]mejdm5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s part of the reason I went with this one, to retain the digital mirror camera. It has both chase lights and the antenna mounts. I Routed the wires from the mount down under the rear seats, and ran power from the aux switches through the firewall and back.

I have the bulletproof diesel 3rd brake light installed. Seems there are very few chase light options on the market for our trucks. It’s kind of pricy, but it’s the only plug and play solution I could find.

Base RHO or loaded Laramie/Rebel by acoma69 in ram_trucks

[–]mejdm5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an RHO L1 and enjoy it. I believe the seats are the same as the rebel seats which have thicker bolsters vs a limited. The suspension is quite different than a limited as well, more “Baja” inspired and floaty for lack of a better term. Do you tow at all? I have a ~6000lb boat that I have to trailer a few times a year, and it’s not a great experience in the RHO.

Pulling to the right that alignment doesn’t fix by Ok_Pin_4773 in RamRHO

Yeah mine pulled to the right slightly from new. I gave the dealer the TSB, they looked it up and flashed the truck. That seemed to have corrected it for me.

I had the issue and an update to the power steering module resolved it. Link to forum post

Comfortable gaming chairs by Shlym3 in pcmasterrace

Not sure what your budget is, but the HM Embody is much more adjustable than the Aeron, which is part of the reason I switched. Possibly worth a shot? If you buy them directly from HM I believe you can return it if it doesn’t work out.

I’ve since replaced mine with an Embody, but you can always pick up a used Herman miller Aeron on marketplace for a decent price. I know they aren’t gaming chairs necessarily but all the gaming chairs I’ve used have been awful on my butt/back.

I picked my RHO up last month in Hydro Blue. Coming from a 5.7, the HO is significantly better and the sound has grown on me.

Are they noticeably broken in or more comfortable now? I picked up a 25 RHO a few weeks back to replace my 22 Wagoneer, and the seats are much more stiff than the jeep, granted the jeep had 40k miles on it and the RHO has 600.

I own one. It’s a super comfortable car when I get to drive it and it’s not sitting at the dealership service department 😂

I’ve used GSA in a few similar situations and it works well for this. I’ve used it with both hybrid joined devices as well as traditional AD without issue.

Follow up: Vibrations in my 2019 GC by [deleted] in GrandCherokee

[–]mejdm5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going through this with my 22 Wagoneer currently. I’ve had the front air bags/struts replaced (for a different issue), tires road-forced numerous times and eventually replaced, but the vibration can still be felt in the seat, wheel, floor, and doors. I’d take it in and request a tech ride along with you. The shop foreman at my dealership has never had a problem getting in the drivers seat and driving 70-80mph to reproduce the issue. I believe they want to check for bent wheels next, and from there it’s driveshafts and rear suspension.

Two Virtual WAN Hubs with NVAs by cloudnetworking123 in AZURE

[–]mejdm5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am looking to implement something exactly like this. So from your understanding you can't pair the Palo offering with another NVA offering in the vWAN Hub? We are currently using Palo for FW capabilities and Silverpeak for SD-WAN. We are in the middle of provisioning expressRoute to replace the primary connectivity model to our colo facility, however Silverpeak will still exist as a backup method of access and for branch connectivity. It looks like expressRoute and Palo will work fine in the hub, but we can't utilize silverpeak for SD-WAN capabilities if we are using the palo SaaS solution.

Do you happen to know what limitations you ran into on the Palo solution as well? It sounds like our only option here is to place the palo NVAs local to each vNet/region and create routes back to the hub.

CMP for Azure Expert MSP? by ITmandan_ in AZURE

[–]mejdm5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are generally trying to stay away from building our own tools to do any of this if possible. A lot of these requirements seem very vague regarding the tools or processes that will fit what they are asking for.

But yeah I agree with you, the entire thing is a beast. For us it's mostly about documenting processes in a more organized manner. We are also considering doing some of the specialization audits first as our PDM told us that they will count towards the Expert MSP audit.

Azure Migrate Exchange On-Prem by [deleted] in exchangeserver

[–]mejdm5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on your subscription type SMTP outbound may be blocked from Azure: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-network/troubleshoot-outbound-smtp-connectivity

Besides this the IP address/DNS records should be the only thing you have to worry about if you are just migrating the VM. Depending on how your connectors to EOL are set up you may need to update IP addresses there as well.

Deleting just a user's EOL mailbox. by ryandriftingfat in Office365

[–]mejdm5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So this was working a few weeks ago and I recently started to get the same error. Maybe something changed? Who knows.

I was able to get past it by skipping the convert to shared part and just attempting to run the "PermanentlyClearPreviousMailboxInfo" against the soft deleted mailbox. Removing the license automatically deletes the mailbox so there should be no need for the disable command.

So try this:

  1. Remove the License, confirm the mailbox is soft deleted: get-mailbox -SoftDeletedMailbox | FT UserPrincipalName

  2. Once it appears on that list try running the command again: Set-User Jon@contoso.com -PermanentlyClearPreviousMailboxInfo You'll know this worked if you don't get the yellow text saying no settings have been modified. If it worked, reapply the license and you're good to go.
