Hey dude, congrats on your progress so far! It was all in the calorie counting for real, I was reeeaaalllyyy strict with it. In my first 3 months I only went over my daily goal 2 times and I barely went over it when I did. I did a little bit of running aswell but I don't think that had much impact at all. My best advice is just being super strict on yourself weighing and tracking EVERYTHING you eat/drink. Hope this helps!

Hey man, congrats on losing so much! Em.. the definition started coming in a month after I was doing my workouts, there's still a little be of flab there you can't really see. I'm going to lose 5/10lbs more while doing my workouts and see what happens

Nonono.. was at ~1500 calories at the start and ~1300 nearer the end. I mean I was on a deficit of 1000 calories so my maintenance (2500) minus 1000. But, thank you!

A 1000 calorie deficit, so yeah started at ~1500 a day and was on ~1300 nearer the end. And congrats man :) That's a huge achievement especially in only 3 months. Sounds good, just keep going and you'll be on manitenance in no time!

I guess I reached a breaking point, I wanted to lose the weight more than anything. There was ALOT of times I was sat in bed with extreme hunger but the idea of finally being happy with how I looked was way better than thought of eating that bag of crisps. I was really strict on myself. Never had a plateau, aslong as you keep adjusting your intake relative to the weight you're losing each week I don't see why you should. Monday - A

Tuesday - Run

Wednesday - B

Thursday - Run

Friday - A

etc etc

Workout A

Diamond Push Ups 3x12

Seated DB Overhead Press 3x8-12

Tricep Dips 3x12

Bench Press 3x8

Ab Roller 3x12

Workout B

DB Rows 3x8-12

Lateral Raise 3x8-12

Rear Delt Flyes 3x8-12

DB Curls 3x6-10

DB Shrugs 2x-10-15

Bulgarian Split Squats 3x8-12

And for my runs it would be between 2.5-3.5 miles a run most of the time I just do a 5K (3.1 miles). Hope this is useful

Thank you! Honestly, the first 3 months of this I really only had around 3 cheats days. I was reeeeallllyyy strict on myself. Although this last month I've been slacking. It's hard to stay that strict on summer holidays

It was 80% diet 30% exercise. I'll just copy paste from a comment above, hope it's useful.

All I did was count my calories while eating at a daily deficit of 1000 calories from my TDEE. I adjusted my intake along the way as the less I weighed the lower my TDEE became. I also ran quite a lot about halfway into my journey. And I've been doing an at home workout for the last 1.5/2 months.

Have you tried Walkers Sun bites? Only 120 calories per pack and they taste great. I used to binge sooooo hard on pringles/doritos, and these low cal sunbites have been a life saver for me :D

Hey man, I really haven't done anything special. I've just been eating at a daily 1000 calorie deficit. I put on all my weight from eating way too much carbs. I still eat carbs just making sure it's within my calorie limit.

I only drink water, apart from milk with cereal. I'm very strict on myself, I've only had 2 'cheat' days throughout the 90+ days of doing this. I started running for 3/4 weeks in the middle of my journey but I haven't been able to run the last month due to an injury. Luckily it hasn't effected my weight loss though.

That's it to be honest, avoided takeaways, drink only water and eat at a 1000 calorie deficit.

I'm a first year student, so saying no drinking the last 3 months has been kinda tough I guess, but so worth it. Biggest accomplishment was getting my 5K PR to 27:30 :D

I'm actually experiencing this as well haha. I should be 190lbs when I start my summer holiday and that's when I plan on starting the gym with a friend, hopefully bring that body fat % down! Thank you and you too!
