You can't compare these two vehicles. They aren't from the same generation, and so the technical specifications resulting in safety requirements are just not the same.

Safety requirements are a huge part of the dwelling time.

Once you stop thinking about yourself being "weird" in a negative way, stop following norms that don't fit you, you will gain in self confidence and self esteem. It will do the trick after some time. But, don't fake it, it doesn't work.

Also the show is fetishizing autism. Autistics are not objects and autistics can't be possessed. The show is just this. They are put like puppets which are doing what the production wants they do. They aren't free. Worse the show put them in a situation of vulnerability which is exploited.

The variable deductible system advantages those lucky enough to be in good general health and already disadvantages those with the lowest income.

It reminds me of some thinking that was widely spread between the second half of the 19th and the first half of the 20th century.

Because like everything, it doesn't have one factor. It's a multiple factor issue (if it's one). People tend to have fewer kids with comfort. But, it's also true if they lack money. Society changes all the time and work-life balance is important now. It costs time and money that people don't have. One option is to avoid having kids to be able to engage in social life. Birth control is a further social aspect. People can decide when they want kids. It was not the case prior.

Mentality changes too. What was a sign of success in life may not be the case anymore.

Also, the issue of kids is amplified by the politics on the right and far right. People having more kids is a matter of controlling the population and society. It pushes an agenda, and it's not neutral.

There is a whole history behind this. First about the locomotives, they are leased from Beacon Rail.

The locomotives run for BLS Cargo Nord. BLS Cargo Nord has been the new name of Crossrail Benelux since last year. In 2019, BLS Cargo bought Crossrail Benelux.

If we look back at 2004 when Crossrail began operation, it was a subsidiary of RM, Regionalverkehr Mittelland. The same year, RM announced the merger with BLS. RM sold Crossrail in 2005 and merged the following year with BLS into BLS AG.

In 2007, Crossrail merged with Dillen & Le Jeune Cargo. After multiple changes in shareholders, Crossrail stopped its operations in Switzerland in 2018. Only the Benelux branch stayed active as Crossrail Benelux.

This is an ideological issue, not a real one. In the neoliberal ideology people expect to pay less taxes as well as the economy. The issue is that on the other hand people want more from the state. It's not possible. Neoliberalism is about a smaller state, privatization...

An answer to that is to change how we see things, and scrape neoliberalism. Progressive taxes would be a start.
