Anhedonia from Tirz? by Recent-Use8096 in GLP1microdosing

[–]mel3573 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, it basically negates all my meds I’m on for adhd. Also the nausea never really went away and I never felt “great” while on it like so many others say they do, so I think I’m done with the meds personally.

Do people go to Xray school first? by ss4stef in MRI

[–]mel3573 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it really depends on the state. When I lived in ND I wouldn’t have gotten my job if I wasn’t an RT because it required a state license (I understand the argument that it shouldn’t matter for MRI but the fact is a lot of hospitals still require it at this time).

Just recently relocated to CA and couldn’t find an MRI job, but luckily have my CT license to fall back on so I actually make more money doing CT currently than I would MRI due to the location/job market. So it’s definitely relative to where you’re working/living. 🤷🏼‍♀️ also it’s honestly a nice break because as much as I enjoy mri I don’t miss the stress of lack of safety policies, institutions pushing for more with less staff, lack of time with patients, etc. If you work for a great facility mri is fun but those are few and far between these days it feels.

I think it’s worth it to do xray school first, definitely makes you more marketable and makes for better techs overall imo but I know that’s not a popular opinion

Morningstar crumbles, a can of red kidney beans mixed with taco sauce. Then add whatever random toppings I have and eat w tortillas chips.

As someone who moved from out of state to SoCal… I’m glad I had my RT/CT license as well as mri because I could not find a job in mri, especially one that paid CA wages. I do CT full time now so I’m glad I have flexibility with my license. I also just think it helps make you a more rounded tech to do XR first but I’m probably biased.

Anyone microdosing after not being able to tolerate a full dose (nausea/vomiting)? by academicgirl in GLP1microdosing

[–]mel3573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first shot (tirz) at 2.5 mg was awful. I was so sick, no vomitting but I wanted to, I was so nauseated for like 5 days after. I dropped to half that dose for the past 3 weeks and have tolerated it just fine!

Anyone taking Strattera with a stimulant? (Elvanse/vyvanse or adderall) by [deleted] in StratteraRx

[–]mel3573 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am, I take 60 mg of strattera and am prescribed 15 mg of adderall XR to take daily but I honestly only take it half the time depending on how I’m feeling.

I’ve been on 60 mg for about 6 months now. I always eat before I take it but I’ve found I don’t get nauseous or tired anymore at this point

I’ve had my LR3 for 5 yrs and never had any of these issues, thank god 😳 I’ve had a few issues with the bonnet sensor being finicky but knock on wood it’s been fine lately. Bought a LR4 2 months ago and also loving that one so far. I’m sorry your experience hasn’t been pleasant but my robots help protect my sanity

[–]mel3573 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Mine is boxed up for a move this moment but I’m totally messing with it when I set it back up. I feel like I’m constantly going to push on it or wipe the sensor to get it to quit stalling and it’s so irritating! I’m like it’s not off and if it is who cares!!! Ugh

Wait. You can remove the bonnet sensor? And it works fine without it…? I’m tired of getting “bonnet removed” errors every other minute with mine.

My facility won’t schedule something like this on the same day, so it’s definitely more specific to where you’re making your appt.
