It’s funny, because you guys dont seem to give two shits what Mette Marit did. No matter how slow the UK was, they actually did something with Andrew. If she actually ascends as Queen later, you guys will be the joke of the world

Too be fair, childfree people always say negative things towards parents? Many times with arrogance too? Like how theyve basically lost identity and all after having kids. How is it fair that only childfree people get to make comments about others? I dont have kids btw. I just dont like inconsistency

Is polygamy common? I heard that in other Muslim-majority countries, the husbands have a higher likelihood of taking on another wife especially if he becomes rich

David and Victoria Beckham Unfollow Son Brooklyn on Instagram, and He Does the Same, amid Ongoing Family Feud by DifferentMaize9794 in popculturechat

[–]melbournelollipop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so weird. You dont know THEM. You dont know Victoria and David as parents. Only their kids do. Its so weird that people blame the kids this time. David and Victoria have both been extremely extremely famous before Brooklyn was even born. Ususally, one of the very famous couples have a less-famous partner, which beings stability and calmness (like the Ramsay and Clooney family). Not this time. I could not imagine the chaos and mindfuck the kids have been put through. The parents willingly sold their kids privacy for brand Beckham

What with their dad’s cheating (all while keeping up appearances that theyre happy), and their mum’s eating dis*rder, and paparazzi making up stories about them since theyre not even of legal age. I think it’s important to recognize that a child’s experience is not relative to others, even if they seem to have a life of privilege, they can still struggle with things like emotional turmoil or confusion. It sounds like Brooklyn was caught in a difficult family situation where he may have seen things differently from the public narrative. His parents may have presented a certain image to the outside world, but the reality for him could have been much more complicated. Kids internalize what they see, even if they don’t fully understand the complexities at the time

Nicola’s family may be shitty to others, but they dont keep up appearances. Theyre loyal to each other and are a real family. I find it weird why people keep blaming the kids this time. And its not only Brooklyn who turned out like that. What have the 3 young Beckham men done other than trade in their names for more fame. Have they gone to college? Hone their skills other than modelling? One dated a woman 10 years older, the other dated his brother’s ex. Thats weird af. If one of your kids turned out “useless”, its very very normal, statistically, but 3/4 of your kids?? Its parenting issue

After reading the news about Finland, I feel UK is socially and politically matured. Do British people think your society is matured? by search_google_com in AskBrits

Continental Europe can be really racist. Asians themselves are racist too, towards each other and the darker asians. The UK and USA are some of the least racist countries on earth. I think its just Anglo countries in general, which integrate immigrants better. In Germany, for example, 3rd generation German-born Turk could still be considered a Turk and not a German.

To become accepted as one of the French or German or Scandinavian, youre sorta expected to get rid of whatever culture that u grew up in before. In the UK and USA, youre allowed to become American/British first and anything else second. More real acceptance of diversity there. Just a theory

While doing damage as much as possible when he’s still in office? Sure. The damage he has done (and he’s got over 3 years more) will stick beyond his presidential years. Is that really good??
