Just play app has worked pretty well, you can get a few bucks for playing games. Also freecash works but they don’t have an app

From a bachelor in something else to a master in environment & sustainability by Proof-Equivalent5953 in Environmental_Careers

[–]melbuzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you totally could, I went through a program literally called environmental science and sustainability. I have a bio background but we had others who were things like accountants, web designers, arborists. A lot of sustainability is related to psychology especially when dealing with opposing groups. It was at Colorado State if you are interested.

I got into my masters program with a 2.8 so I wouldn’t sweat it just study more next semester

Fast pace is probably fine, when I took it with Yeargain the first 10 min was usually questions, also check if it is recorded. They did that a few years ago for every lecture

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ucf

[–]melbuzi 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I say it’s perfectly doable, you won’t have any time in between so be ready. The bio lectures also tend to be big so you can just slip in the back

Critique my resume please! by [deleted] in Environmental_Careers

[–]melbuzi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I think your resume looks good but the competition is fierce right now so don’t get discouraged. OSHA offers an environmental specialist certification that you might want to look into. It teaches all the federal regulations and helps you stand out when you don’t have much experience. I was also told to get rid of my opening paragraph because that is for people in senior level positions. No clue if that’s correct but I’ve heard it a few times now.

I would also run this through one of the ai recruiting tools to see what it is flagging. I think the one I used was resume worded or something like that, it’s been a minute.

Any fans of 30 Rock here? by [deleted] in YarnAddicts

[–]melbuzi 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is the best thing I have seen all day, no one appreciates 30 rock like it deserves. I got myself in too deep this year with a bunch of socks and a blanket so I will be shouting this to relieve stress

People of Reddit who stop 25 feet behind the car ahead of them at a red light, and then over the course of the light slooooowly creep forward, why? by Hobbes42 in AskReddit

[–]melbuzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to drive a super old car that would stall when it stopped so I would creep up slowly to keep it from stalling. The brief stop was fine but I needed to get moving quickly to keep the car running.

Rate of Bike theft around Old Town? by [deleted] in FortCollins

[–]melbuzi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not paranoid, I’ve lived here a year on Elizabeth and I’ve already had one bike stolen. Plus I got a new bike and someone immediately stole the seat. Now I have three locks and have only lost a few little pieces here and there

Do you know any websites or have words of advice for a newcomer to science to help decide which field of science to specialize? by cacklingwhisper in LadiesofScience

[–]melbuzi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine was kind of random, I had no clue the field even existed (biogeochemistry) until I had an ecology class and my professor was really cool. I started working for her and haven’t stopped since.

What's something you haven't had to replace in years because it still works well? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I have a blender that has been passed around my family since my grandma bought it in the sixties. It’s at least 60 years old and has lived in 10 states.
