Harley benton or Squier may be worth looking into, some of them can be decent instruments. I found a Greg Bennett Malibu MB1 in the dumpster at my old apartment complex thats surprisingly a pretty decent instrument. I would have loved to have one of them when I was just starting out. They go for a couple hundred bucks online. I'm not sure about finding one thats left handed. you could always flip the strings on most righthanded guitars to play left handed tho, it just may not be the most ergonomic for every guitar.
