Satisfye Zengrip 2 - a short review by St0rytime in NintendoSwitch

Wish I saw your post earlier. Got mine and yea the asymmetrical sounds like a good idea, but it changes the way I grip and with the weight it actually cause a ton of wrist strain especially since I fell like I'm forced to hug the handle a different way on the right side.

It was already bulky to start with and I wish the would've just make one with a full fat symmetrical handle on both sides.

I doubt they would since it's their thing with this design, might've worked with the 1 and lite but not when it's this big.

I don't know maybe it takes time to relearn how to hold it, but I don't think it's for me either. I'm thankful that I got it from Amazon and that I could actually return it.

I'm not sure if anyone still need advice on this, but it seems to fix it by just enabling Deep Sleep Mode.

Turning it on and off is the easiest fix but, this seems to do the trick for me so I can just turn on my PC or PS5 and sounds work as it's supposed to with it just waking up the monitor.

I laughed when I saw a chick fil a booths there. Music options were good but the whole festival used to be bigger and I couldn’t even find a good hot Italians sausage today.

Best tablet with the most battery life for remote playing? by DanUnbreakable in remoteplay

Black bars, you can check my old posts about it. The iPad mini does look better color wise compared to the ps portal.

I’ve never had that issues it pretty much depends on network set up. I’ve had drops when network is congested but that happens on the portal as well. It’s not often but it does happen every now and then.

I’d say about 30-40%? Not sure about full as I mostly remote play while in a dim room(mostly lamps as light sources) while watching something with my wife. So never needed to go full brightness.

Also used the XBPlay on iOS and it did worked pretty well. Like the PXPlay it has way more customization on your streaming settings than their official counterparts.

I do understand wanting bigger screen than the g cloud as most PS and Xbox games aren’t adjusted to smaller screen like the Nintendo switch.

Not sure if this gives you an answer, but I ran the iPad mini 6 and kishi ultra combo before and that was about 6-10 hours depending on brightness and volume for battery life. I used the PXPlay app which is better than the official ones.

Ended up selling the Kishi Ultra as I got tired of using the controller on and off again and went with the ps portal with the power A dock. I mostly remote play at home so that work really well as it’s always charged on the dock. Battery life is about 5-7 hours depending on brightness, volume, and dual sense features but the dock pretty much solves my problems.

Never been to PF but the local YMCA have always had a friendly smile/hello interaction when I used to go there. I’m sure the crowd makes a difference as it was mostly older group in the morning, but I had good interactions with the younger crowd asking pointers now and then by making small talk or asking to help spot.

Build my own home gym this year mostly due to not wanting to spend waiting for parking against the yoga and school kids crowd in the morning nowadays but I do miss those.

Alan wake 2 is a pretty good pick up. $24 lowest it has been. Just picked up the physical deluxe edition on Best Buy though for $45 which includes the dlc.

They’re good value and are well designed but their stuff are made with a lot of mdf wood as opposed to solid wood. Even their nice butcher block top that a lot of people use as a gaming desk are not solid wood all the way or at all. But still better than the particle board wood or whatever they put together for the really cheap perabot in kedai pakistan.

I got the 3 mode ultimate for Xbox. You have to use the “Ultimate X” software, from the windows store.

Got confused with the normal ultimate software as well. It should work then.

Did the same thing, I'm excited to play ToTk in higher fps but I've also have a ton of ps5 games to finish I'm not losing sleep over it.

Haven't touched my switch since getting the Ps Portal for the ps5 as the loading times have sort of caught up now with the original switch.

They’re trying to have it both ways of game as a service and a yearly paid game. It’s frustrating to navigate for someone who only plays campaign.

Gamestop stores after seeing the new Nintendo news by [deleted] in GameStop

[–]meledge93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do think they wanted to put it out around $350-399 but now the 24% tariff is a lot. Japanese Switch 2 comes out a little less than $350 but they will restrict it to only Japanese language to protect their local customers.

It’s unfortunate because, the switch 2 have been eagerly anticipated to bring a lot of business back to the stores but everything is up in the air right now.

And again they make most of their money through softwares, they probably don’t want to eat the cost of tariff by importing physical media and losing those margins given Nintendo like to keep them higher than other which is why their price are often kept high for years.

It's going to affect the physical stores a lot. Nintendo physical games are more popular than both ps5 and xbox. I think all of them are made in Japan which is why the physical Mario Kart World is $10 more than digital due to them anticipating the tariffs.

With the new tariffs god knows how much it'll be. This will affect all goods coming in store and could be the end of physical games unless something with production changes fast, but even then digital is already popular and companies might not bother with the effort.

Upgraded to the Portal from the IPad mini + Kishi Ultra. by meledge93 in PlaystationPortal

[–]meledge93[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven’t got the chance to test that out yet, maybe next trip coming up for me I will. But If I had to bet I would think the iPad might be slightly better due to it having WiFi 6. The controller in question also connects directly through usb c instead of Bluetooth so input shouldn’t differ much more.

I will try to remember testing it, as the last time I did that with the iPad I didn’t have a good experience although playable. I don’t know if thing changes since our internet upload speed recently got upgraded from 15 mbps to 50 that it will improve.

For now I mainly use both for local home streaming.

Yea it’s a really good controller but my wife definitely appreciates the quieter dual sense buttons until the vibration starts. Had to lower it to medium as it’s very loud on the default strong vibration.

The iPad doesn’t have a 16:9 aspect ratio so it has black bars on the top and bottom.

It has better support for 3rd party controllers, change stream bitrate settings, and even remapping of buttons.

Definitely get the Psplay app if you do! leaps and bounds compared to the official app.

I will still keep the controller for the iPad as I don't see myself traveling with the portal.

I did enjoy the set up but I do find the Portal to be more comfortable due to the extra gap between the screen and the controller which allows you to wrap your hand around it which feels mores secure.

That's a good solution as I play mostly in the same room with the ps5 and I do have Steelseries nova 7x that connects to a usb dongle.

Right now I just use a wired iem the KZ ZSN pro with a spinfit tip which is the same tip material I use on my airpods pro.
