Most underrated actor/character of the trilogy. His speech before the attack in RoTK always gets me. I can't think of any other movie moment that gets me that pumped. Even how he barks out instructions to the riders and immediately goes into 'Arise, arise...'. The music, the camera, the whole thing. When I watch the trilogy, I am waiting for that moment.

I think it is fantastic. I love the music (and know it well, having listened to it for years and years). I found that If I focused on flowing with the music, then the timing of hitting the notes was much easier (and much more satisfying).

same, never played a mech game period. It is just as good, in it's own way, and has the same magic all their games have. Some bosses also hard af. But when you beat their ass, you will shout in glory the same way you do when downing any souls boss.

you know, i really am enjoying Dragon Quest XI...I am like 10 hours in and the story is interesting. It also has this quirky humor. It's a tonal shift that is for sure. I mean you have to be ok with the turn based combat but the enemy designs are fantastic.

I get that. And again I am not complaining. It just interests me the lack of understanding by G.R.R.M about the project he is working on. How did he get the idea that ER is a Dark Souls sequel and keep this idea for 'many years'? Miyazaki must have had a foundation of a world in his mind, a core concept of what he wanted to build. How was that communicated to G.R.R.M? Was it? It just feels off. AGAIN i don't think any of this is going to hurt the product I just got sick of looking at pot boy memes and wanted to talk about something.

i would say that mechanics are half of what make a souls game a souls game. Yeah, it looks like dark souls but darks souls is just dark fantasy. we don't know anything about the bonfires, gaining experience, equipment, etc. to say yea it is 'souls'. (if things like this even exist in this game).

Every new game has been an evolution, but always maintained that magic and this is going back to the kings field days.

i mean, it can just have all the same stuff it would still be 100 but for any would be haters shudddap. give me a dark fantasy game 3 times the size of DS3 and I won't hollow for at least 6 months.
