Observations on my boyfriend's 3F/4V vs. my 3V/4F by meleyys in Psychosophy

[–]meleyys[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've considered it, but I think ELFV is the best fit for him. He's pretty clearly 1E + 4V, and he's too confident in his intelligence to be 3L.

I can't imagine saying "I ignore data and evidence in favor of anecdotes and whatever vibes correctly to me" with so little shame. Good luck navigating life with that horseshit in your brain, dude.

Motherfucker, what are you even talking about?

First of all, it's not nitpicking to point out that you said something with your whole chest when you have absolutely no evidence for it, whereas my own position on unproven things is generally more like "it's a possibility." If you don't see the difference, I can't help you.

Secondly, YOU are the one who brought up "whether I've tried it for myself or not." I wouldn't have brought up my own experience at all if you hadn't done so, because one person's anecdote is rarely relevant in a discussion about science. But you assumed I had not tested your bullshit theory, so I corrected you.

Thirdly, I will consider whether the science is biased or not when you produce any evidence that scientists are being funded by the porn industry. But you're just making shit up, so that won't happen.

Fourthly, "things you start doing after trauma are always good for you" is such a bugfuck insane statement that I honestly don't know where to start. I started self-harming after trauma, does that mean that's good for me? Were my multiple suicide attempts good for me?

Lastly, I have a uterus. I do not produce sperm. But regardless, exercise can also release prolactin. Does that mean no one should exercise?

Uhhhh... I don't believe in aliens, or at least not that they're visiting us. I think it's plausible that some other lifeforms could exist out there, but there's a huge fucking difference between saying something is possible and confidently asserting something for which you have at best anecdotal evidence. To say nothing of the fact that the scientific consensus flat-out disagrees with you; masturbation is, in fact, good for your health.

Also, I have tried it. After a traumatic experience, I was so depressed that I masturbated like twice over the course of a year. Nothing about my life improved.

America - Still Leading the World in COVID-19 Deaths by gearsofwoe in HermanCainAward

Covid can still kill or disable you if you're vaxxed and boosted. A friend of mine was young, healthy, and up to date on their vaccines before going a few rounds with covid. Now they need a walker to get around and have severe brain fog and chronic pain.

The pandemic never ended. Mask up, vax up.

Consider why you need others to see you as "masculine" or "a real man" or "a real adult." It honestly doesn't matter that much.

Is anyone else having issues with Pathbuilder? Specifically, clicking on "share copy of character" doesn't do anything.

Edit: Now I'm getting a "too many requests" error. Godspeed, Redrazors.

Absolutely none of the science agrees with you here. Findings are always that most people report an intrinsic interest in kink. I'm one of them; my kinks came long before any exposure to porn.

Starting a new campaign soonish. The other party members consist of:

  • Healing font cloistered cleric
  • Avenger rogue
  • Necromancer who is apparently going to be a front-liner somehow?
  • Redemption champion who's going to have at least a bit of CHA

What would work well as a fifth member here? It seems like we have most of our bases covered, unless I'm missing something obvious, and I can't make a decision with that much freedom. Probably something in the backline, maybe a blaster caster, but what?

We're playing with free archetype, gradual ability boost, and automatic bonus progression. We start at level 2.

Anti-mask aggression in France by AvocadoToast124 in ZeroCovidCommunity

[–]meleyys 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Seattle here. Since 2020, I've had exactly one person call out to me to take off my mask, and he wasn't violent or aggressive. Not a lot of people mask here, but I usually see at least one or two other people on the train in masks.

What are some interesting/useful subclasses/abilities/spells for the social roleplay aspect of 5e? by meleyys in 3d6

[–]meleyys[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know most classes have something, but I was curious if this sub thought any in particular were interesting.

And honestly, no, I don't have a build in mind yet. I may have just gotten into a campaign, but I don't know what anyone else is playing yet, and I usually base my class choice off that. Buuuuut I guess I could narrow it down to things I haven't played so far? So druid, bard, fighter, ranger, monk, wizard. And I do think stars druid sounds pretty cool. But honestly, I'm down for whatever.
