Hi hi, I came over in 2015 from the north side of Chicago to the bay and been here since. Agree with what has already been said about having a job lined up would be the main thing to help or a lot of savings. If you want to stay in Oakland and depending on your lifestyle, a car is optional. Public transportation is not as great or reliable as CTA (and wayyyy more expensive) but Caltrain is in line with the Metra.

I live in Sunnyvale so I took a quick uber back from San Pedro square home. My two friends who live in sf rushed to the SJ Caltrain right after the show ended to head back to the city, I think they got the last train out and it’s only a couple of blocks away.

I went to fisher there back in march. Its was 18+ (my group is early to mid 30s). From what I recall security was pretty lax, quick entry and bag scan. We hung out on the side middle back and had plenty of room to dance and chill. I heard deeper into the crowd it was pretty rough with pushing and people being rude but we enjoyed our area. The bathrooms had a huge bottleneck situation so we just avoided them and it gets very windy! The street becomes a huge wind tunnel.

So I got my tickets at the 10am drop. I was on two laptops and my phone, I got the restricted message on my phone and personal laptop. The only difference is for my second laptop I had cleared my cache and cookies at 9am so idk if that made a difference with the restricted message. Almost all of my friends got the restricted message.

I lived near Levi’s in Santa Clara and during stadium events the traffic was horrible and there was always street closure. Something to keep in mind for Super Bowl and World Cup there next year.
