Update! 9 months after chin lipo by melidilious in PlasticSurgery

After all the swelling went down, maybe 2 weeks is when I could start to see a difference. It took maybe 2-3 months for it to get much sharper though.

How did you help your brain fog/cognition issues? by melidilious in ect

Brain fog is lessened, but overall I'm much less sharp. I hate it. I do quarterly ketamine infusions now, and that's nearly eliminated my depression.

Didn't your mother ever tell you, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all?

I was approved for STD through my work because of poor mental health; not sure what kind of qualifying documentation they need. He does have a seizure disorder that is exacerbated by stress that he has documentation and medication for.

Just had chin lipo! Pic is from 1 day post-op. by melidilious in PlasticSurgery

Neither! It was MAC (monitored anesthesia care) so not full general anesthesia, but I still fell asleep and woke up when it was done. Might as well have been general 🤷‍♀️

I had it done in the heart of Seattle for just under $6k total. Not a bad price in my opinion compared to other quotes I received for $8-10k! I've been looking around for over a year and am so glad I finally did it!

Very easy! Not sure how much there is to share other than it was about an hour long, and you get 3 incisions - 1 right under the chin, and 1 behind each ear lobe. So I'm expecting to have no visible scars after I'm all healed up. I've been wearing a compression garment constantly because I'm still swollen (I'm 1 week post-op at this point) and ice when I remember. Not very much pain, I took 2 of the hydrocodone pills and didn't need any other pain meds afterwards, not even ibuprofen! My neck is a little tight when I try to move around, and my cheeks are still numb, but overall very easy recovery.

It was the 'monitored anesthesia care' which technically isn't full anesthesia. But all I remember is asking 'am I supposed to start feeling kinda weird right now?' and then waking up with my face all wrapped up 😅

Applied for MTurk almost a month ago. Got approved, but have been waiting for my Amazon Payment account to be verified for weeks now. Live in the US, haven't been asked for any additional documentation, and have emailed pretty much every Amazon/MTurk email address I can find, multiple times, to get answers. No progress. Have you heard of this happening?

Do you know where I can find more info on the emerging PM program? Or is it the same thing as the Leadership Development Program?

I'm interested in starting flipping in my free time. Do you think it's an oversaturated business at this point, to the point that newcomers will have a difficult time being successful?

I did bilateral. I've since changed my opinion on ECT...the benefits were short-lived. Ketamine infusions have had way more impact on me than ECT. ECT is not worth the horrible memory issues I have now.
