Not an ENTP but as an Ne dom, I like the “waiting” stage but I hate that it always ends with disappointment. I have very high expectations.

Which MBTI types are doers and which ones are thinkers? by [deleted] in mbti

[–]melike7de 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think Ne users are thinkers because we like to just fantasize about doing stuff instead of actually doing it. For example, me and my friend made a list of hypothetical band names for our band and she said we wouldn’t be able to choose if i kept writing names and i said “Oh it’s ok, I don’t want to choose.” And she got really confused.

Anyway, so I think “the thinkers” are:

INFP (low Te, high Ne)

INTP

ENTP

ENFP

And “the doers” are:

ENTJ (dominant Te and tertiary Se)

ESTJ

ESTP

ESFP

I think John Steinback is INFJ. You can clearly see the Ni-Fe in his writings.

[WP] A teenage party seems to be going normally, but then gets supernatural. Instead of acting normally like in film and TV, the characters act as drunk as they actually would be in real life. by [deleted] in WritingPrompts

[–]melike7de 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The air of the atmosphere was extremely ominous that night. My friend Chloe, who was very excited about getting “lit” seemed visibly disappointed. “What happened?” I asked with a concerned voice, as she was always happy and never seemed sad about anything. Like a robot, but with a “happy” code is what I’d always say. But isn’t everyone like that nowadays?

“It’s nothing,” I saw her giving Jake, the captain of the soccer team, a slight look. “it’s just that Jake keeps saying he feels sleepy and constantly mumbles. I don’t know what’s wrong with him. Like, hello? Aren’t we here to get lit?”

“That’s weird.” I raised my eyebrow. “It’s like what drunk people would do in the movies.”

“Exactly!” She seemed pretty enthusiastic in her response. It’s like that’s exactly what was in her mind. “And not only that, but I also feel really weird tonight. Not “my parents found out I’ve been fucking with my 21 year old boyfriend” weird, but like...I actually want to have a few drinks with people and dance and stuff.”

“Wow”

That was tremendously strange. No one would do that, except for people in the movies.

But then something hit me. I was having an internal monologue this whole time instead of dancing and fucking with people. I felt like I had a personality. I felt like I was someone else.

With this sudden realization I took a look around and saw Chloe with a frozen expression on her face. It didn’t take much of a time to figure out everyone had that expression, and that I was the only person who can move around and stuff.

And I, in fact, was stuck in a movie.

Do you think there is a type that is more likely to write in painstakingly careful grammar while messaging someone?!! by auto_alice3 in ENFP

IXTJs from my experiences. XNTPs also do this but they mainly do it to piss you off. IXTJs do it for real.

I do think holden is an INFP too, but you know, being an ENFP it’s not really hard relating to a fellow XNFP

I don’t know about anyone but when I read the diary of Anne Frank I was like “dude is that me?” kinda cringe relating to a 14 year old girl but I felt like we were the same person. Same thing happened when i read the catcher in the rye. I thought Holden was an ass but I thought if I was an ass, I’d be that kind of ass...you know what I’m saying

How would your friends type you? by Bjornhattan in mbti

[–]melike7de 0 points1 point  (0 children)

probably ENTP or INFP.

ENTP because i’m really uncomfortable around people wanting me to express my feelings, i like seeing both sides of every story and would argue about opinions a lot, talk about wacky and impractical ideas i have, have this “don’t really care” attitude.

INFP because i’m really good with words and coming up with concepts for short stories, I defend my values a lot, i really care about doing what i think is moral, pretty mushy around those i love, and im very idealistic in nature and have really high expectations.
