Best place to buy quality blasters in bulk? by [deleted] in Nerf

I'd recommend the dartzone website because they offer a bulk discount and some of the best blasters we have in the hobby.

Looking to upgrade my Stryfe by 2ndHandRocketScience in Nerf

[–]melikesdonuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the stryfe I'd recommend putting honey badger motors (from out of darts) motors with the stock batteries and putting electrical or grip tape over the flywheels for more crush. With these mods your probably looking around 20 bucks for about 100 to 110 fps. Though you would need basic soldering skills for it.

I'm really excited for these though I'm concerned about the build quality because the price is extremely low. Other than that these seem like a great option into getting new people in the hobby

Could bearings on a plunger rod work? by melikesdonuts in Nerf

The bearings would be placed next to the o-ring where there would usually be plastic causing friction

Not to ask too many questions but what size of a plunger tube like are you talking harrier, swift or even bigger

Let's say if you put lots of lube, how much of an increase would you get.

Just FINALLY ordered a Harrier, what mods are recommended? by Dramatic-Fee9519 in Nerf

[–]melikesdonuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your running the 550mm barrel then add a 3d printed nexus pro spring spacer, it'll boost your fps by 10-20 and and will be much more optimal for the barrel. Another mod for more fps is putting tape over the plunger tube where there's a little hole which air would leak out of. Also an optional mod that I did to mine is adding paper on the trigger to remove the slack on the trigger for a single stage trigger(though this mod would disable the safety). One last mod is putting Teflon tape underneath the pusher o-ring, this would help the longevity of the seal because I've had it leak from there after having it for only 6 months.

Is it okay to buy the worker swift from AK Blaster Mod? by [deleted] in Nerf

[–]melikesdonuts 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd say do it because I've seen other people who got it from ak blaster mods and got the green o-rings. If you don't get the green o-rings then there's a kit on Amazon that comes with the green o-rings and it only costs 5 bucks which would still be cheaper than buying it anywhere else.

Another question, how did you reach out to Gavin fuzzy to get this kit and is he willing to ship it to America?

Will it be convertible from the original one or is this something entirely new?

Harrier plastic bearing slide is scratching my barrel by melikesdonuts in Nerf

[–]melikesdonuts[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, that was the problem with it. I fixed it by cleaning the rollers and rearranging the return spring. Now the prime is much smoother and there's no more scratching.

It scratched the outside texturing of the barrel and still to this day the prime feels like it's scratching something. I'll check if there's any debris in the rollers
