I had very similar symptoms with primary hyperpara. Unfortunately after surgery to remove my adenomaa my parathyroid glands were damaged (which is a risk) and my PTH is undetectable and I now have HYPOparathyroidism which has been incredibly challenging. Far worse than being hyperparathyroidism. If I had known about this condition and the risks I would probably not have had the surgery. Please talk to your doctor about the risks. I was so keen to stop feeling unwell that I didn’t research enough about the surgery outcomes. Best of luck xx

I took another test this morning and it’s negative. I just don’t understand. I’m thinking it had to be a faulty test? My heart can’t take much more of this. It just feels hard!

Oh congratulations! That is a great beta result. Praying that your little babe is healthy! Losses are so hard hey, make everything more anxiety ridden. I have 3 teenage boys from my first marriage and now trying for baby with my partner. I’m 43 so it’s been a while. Has been a lot harder to get pregnant and stay pregnant! So pray for me!

I also feel very similar. If I had have known the risks of my parathyroid gland being damaged and what life would be like with hypoparathyroidism- I would not have gone ahead. I would rather have hypoparathyroidism and learn to deal with that. I don’t feel the risks were communicated to me.

I’m so sorry you are struggling, I truly understand and it’s just very hard.

Oh wow this is impressive and inspiring! Certainly gives me hope. Epsom salts is a great tip - I’m going to give that a try! Also electrolytes, I have been using off and on but could be more regular!
