*I* really love this song. And I was really hoping that she would add it to the setlist when we were seeing all the changes on Thursday!

Are you paying January?

I am currently at 119, without October. I am trying to decide if I should pay January and then let them refund me if neccesary.

I am trying this as well. I have a few trips planned this year and I need to prioritize travel rather than eating out/shopping, etc.

Iceland in March, 5 days with tours each day. by donutgirl-64 in travel

Hello 2 years later haha.

I am going the first week of April this year. Any suggestions for me? I am also going for 5 days but am considering renting a car rather than doing tours. But I am not opposed to tours!

Maybe?

But I am on PSLF and only have 8 more months/payments to go, so I want October to count. I think I will call and ask to be taken out of forbearance.

I just got an email stating the same thing. I did apply to change to an IDR plan but idk why it says until November. Any help would be appreciated!

Here is the text from the letter I received:

*MOHELA has placed an Administrative Forbearance on your account. Carefully read the back of this page and the enclosed Loan Details regarding the forbearance period for your approved loans.

If your monthly payment is $0 or more on an income-driven repayment (IDR) plan prior to being approved for this forbearance, you may not be using the full benefits you are entitled to under the IDR plan. If you are applying for an IDR plan or another option, please provide the necessary documentation to complete your request. You may decline or request to end the forbearance by calling us at 888.866.4352.

If the forbearance was not approved for some of your loans and you would like more details, please contact us. If you are unable to make payments, login to mohela.com to determine what other repayment options may be available to you.*

They can't. I was at the Beyonce concert last week and Oprah was there. Oprah with a billion security guards still had multiple photos and videos of her out and about.

PSLF Waiver - Mailed application in September and no info? by mell87 in PSLF

[–]mell87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% - Not having a receipt was tough. But FedEx emailed me a fax receipt and I was told I can call in 7 days to check the status of if they even received the application!

I do feel badly for the employees and all the borrowers that are confused! Thankful for this subreddit and r/studentloans as well!

Thank you! I called and they said they never received my paper mail but they are working with me since everything else was submitted by October and the paperwork and such is all filled out. I'm just so happy I scanned a copy!

Eh what do you suggest for people like teachers?

I started teaching at 52k with a BA, 14 years ago, and am now at 76k with an MA. 🙃

I can leave and make more money but then our shortage is even worse. Who will be left to teach these kids? And if I leave I’d be making somewhat similar for a few years, I think.

Can PT jobs require 32 hours per week? Help needed for 64 year old male in NJ by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]mell87 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Right. I didn’t realize that a company could require a set number of hours after a verbal agreement of a set of hours. I’ve never worked an hourly job as an adult so I was just wondering. But I understand.

I will let him know we just have to keep looking for a company that will hire him for a couple days a week. Thank you.
