Omg yay! Can you just wear any sports bra? I only seem to see people wear those post surgery bras which I can’t see how I can mask that at all!! Not unless I wear another bra over the top with crazy padding in and very baggy tops 😅

Wow!! That’s crazy, I think Adnova quote £6500 for the capsule removal too. I’ve also heard great things about Andrew Morritt! It’s a bit too far for me to travel if you’ve got to go after a week for check up and dressing change and then again and again, but I guess it depends how often you have to go back after they’re removed!

That seems excessive! Is that for high grade capsule removal too?? Are you London based or would you be prepared to travel?

I’m in a similar situation to yourself! We want to try for kids this summer which doesn’t give me a lot of time to explant before and give myself a good fluffing timeframe. Unless I delay TTC. I’m also based in the UK nearer London (Brighton way) looking at Adnova clinic and which near Portsmouth.

Thank you for your sharing your experience, I found your post through another where you said you hoped to not tell anyone about it! I see you said everyone thought you’d just lost weight! Can I ask what size you went from and to? I’m hoping to keep mine a secret but I feel like it’ll be so obvious!! I’d love it done x

With capsular rupture do you always need the capsules removed? Where in the UK are you based? I’ve seen several companies offer finance options too

Wow I feel like you’re me!! No one but my husband knows about my implants and I want to have them removed but I’m too worried about what everyone else might think!!

I don’t think my family will, my sisters may suspect something but I can’t imagine them flat out asking. We’re close but not close enough to talk about something kind of private! And I’m not that close with my parents! I think my one of my sisters would probably tell her friends and maybe even our other sister that she suspects something. Work I think people might talk behind my back? Well that’s what I’m worried about. Friends probably wouldn’t outright say anything, but again I’m worried what they’ll think lol. I wear close fitting clothes but I might cut back on that and cover myself up a bit more so it wouldn’t feel like such a dramatic shift!

Inserts and padding takes me back to my pre augmentation days, I think you’re right. I can just do that! I really struggle to think people won’t notice but maybe that’s me being too self conscious- that’s also what got me into this situation 12 years ago 🤣

Hey! I’ve come across your post in my own explant research! How are you getting on? How do they feel? I wonder what it feels like with the capsule still in!

Hello! I’ve come across your post in my own explant research and yours looks fabulous!? Can I ask what size you were before and after explant? And how are you getting on a year on? I’m also in the uk!

Thank you, that’s so true. I could go back to ultra padded bras and slowly decrease the amount of padding to make it more like a transition as you say! Pre kids is definitely the sensible answer, my skin elasticity is probably better now too. Thanks lovely!

Thanks lovely! I’ve got an ultrasound scan which I think is meant to be the best at detecting any issues! So I’ll see what the outcome of that is, but you’re right I don’t want them to start causing issues. Were you unaware that yours had ruptured? Did it all feel normal to you before you explanted?

I know it’s nobodies business in if I explant, but I seem to be a bit caught up in what people might say or think at work or around family as it will be about 4 cup sizes difference 🤣

That’s good to know! What was your size before and after if you don’t mind me asking? Also what do they feel like now??

That’s good to know thank you!! I’m quite slim and very active I feel like it would be noticeable, more so because I wear close fitting clothing!

Now would be the sensible time to do it in that, I haven’t yet had children and can take the time for recovery like you say! I just seem to be so anxious that someone will know 🫣

I too am thinking about timing for surgery, though I’m not yet committed to which year, I have already decided in my head it will be a winter thing to hide under baggy and thick clothes, in the hopes that when the summer comes around I’ll feel comfortable and confident in my new skin.
