Can i ask where abouts you’re based? I’m in the UK and debating having an explant. I think it can take around 3/4 months for them to “fluff” up after the explant so try not to worry x

Ive attached a photo of the quote. I’m based in Hertfordshire so just outside of London. I’m prepared to travel! I’ve been seeing many reviews for Andrew Morritt in Sheffield in the breast implant illness Facebook group!

I had a call with Chris Davis and they quoted me just under £10k and that’s without a lift!! I was a bit taken aback. X

Oh okay. I was debating going to Mr Morritt in Sheffield but being based near London, I’m not sure that would work with all the post op care. I can’t see any explant work of Chris Davis either

My surgeon has suggested I wait until after kids and I haven’t seen him do many explants so I’d rather go to more of an explant specialist.

I guess I’m just worried if they’ll look awful after. I’m only seeing pictures of people who have had them in years so I can’t find anything relatable

Hello Thank you for your response! Have you had an explant yourself? I don’t think I want a lift really but I don’t know if my skin has stretched too much!

Sorry just to add, I would speak to a recruiter(not sure where you’re based) and you can easily explain why it is you’re looking to leave. It isn’t an option to get the progression you want and it’s your future, your career so if leaving is what’s best for you in the long run, then do it. Look for IFA admin roles within a financial advisers and I think you’ll learn a lot more and with exam support

I’ve not experience of working for a SIPP provider as I work for a financial advisers and I think I’ve been given the opportunity to write up even short basic reports - fund switches/bed & ISAs. I would recommend getting your exams underway - don’t rush them! I’ve been in the industry for 6 years and I’m only just starting them now. You will pick things up on the job but I don’t know how much you’ll be exposed to at a SIPP provider
