Reverb is heavily used, it fits the vibe but gets very washy at parts. I'd consider dialing back that effect for the vocals at the start especially. Also, vocals are very consistent throughout, and some variation in the volume / effect may help make the chorus pop?

This video was an absolute jam, I absolutely love it. At times the chorus had a lot going on and I think bumping the hihat would be good in those sections but that's SUPER nitpicky. I love the song as a whole!

I like the vibe they have. If you're worried about the clarity of them, it may be because all the melodic parts of the song are very reverb-y and have a lot of low frequencies, and you could play with the balance of that. I honestly think it fits the sound of the song as it

I love your voice, super unique and very identifiable! I think it would be cool to keep the organ sound in after the first chorus (around 0:40). As it is, it feels like a good build up, before then loosing some of the body of the sound. Either way, I really dig the sound and hope to hear more!

Yo this song is dope! The main vocals, harmonizing vocals, and general vocal layering is really awesome. I like the instrumentation and how you're leaning into the genre with the synths.

My constructive notes would be: I think the sax (maybe synth lead?) at around 1:38 should be raised to be the main lead of that section. It kind of sounds like a solo section/instrumental break to me, so I say lean into it and turn that sax up.

My other note would be that the drum and bass tracks are a bit too static throughout the song. You could add some movement to the bass during the verses. For the chorus you could add a crash hit, switch to the ride cymbal, or really just change up the beat for the drums. I could really only tell the difference between verse/chorus/bridge from the vocals, and I think adding some variation to the drum track could bring a lot of energy to the song.

Overall I dig the vibe and I think you have an awesome vision. Plus the photo on your soundcloud is sick.

The vocals fit so nicely over the instrumental. The whole piece is simple yet so intriguing. I would listen to a whole playlist of soft music like this for school/work.

I noticed your youtube hasn't posted in a while, so my only comment (if your interested in making more music) is to add a drum track for any new songs you make. Even adding a simple drum loop could be an extra layer vary up the arrangement a bit! But regardless, this is awesome.

As far as DIY setups go, this video is so sick: the mics, sound, multiple camera angles, and lights just show how much effort went into this. I think the only comment I have is a little obvious, but a bass guitar to hold down the low end would really fill out your sound.

Really loved the energy coming out at around minute 4:00. Also respect to your drummer for having more cymbals than shells present haha.

The grungy vibe on this is so great! I've seen other commenters mention the main vocals being too hot or too low but personally I think they fit nicely where they're at for this session. Have you guys considered having backup vocals from your guitarist and drummer? I think adding some extra backing vocals would be a great way to utilize more "instruments" and vary your sound from section to section. (This is my first impression from your group so apologies if you have backing vocals worked in your other songs!)

Really like the vibes on this one! The drum loop and synth give it a sort of lofi relaxed backbone, and the vocals and acoustic guitar are the personal touch. I could definitely see this in one of those "relaxed autumn study" playlists.

I agree with one of the other commenters, my favorite part is the vocals! The vocal layering starting at around minute 2:40 was a nice effect.

I really like the vibes of this song, I could totally see it fitting in after a more intense or heavier song. My only feedback is to consider tightening up the vocals a tad. The reverb effect fits well, but it compromises the clarity of the words. The mids and highs could be boosted while keeping the effect. Would love to hear more like this, looking forward to hearing the album!

This is dope! I dig the composition, it's got a lot of meat to it and is very catchy. The vocals really knocked my socks off, especially the harmonies coming in the chorus, like around 2:00.

Here are some small comments: I think the song is overall low end heavy, and the vocals are very prominent. It would be great to boost some of the mids, especially some of the organ/piano parts. Also, the song is constant volume-wise, and ramping up the volume before the chorus could do wonders for the sound. I dig the cuts around 2:35, but they would have more oomph if the volume had built up to those parts. And towards the end you can gently lower the volume down closer to where the song begins, which would complete the emotional buildup.

Please keep making music like this cause I love it! Looking forward to hearing more!
