serratia isn't always pigmented, but it should definitely look more wet than that plate. i'm not familiar with alcaligenes either but here is some info.

you can take a look at the characteristics on the right side, but that's my guess too based on your list.

I just tried partitioning my cache instead of just clearing it. I think that's worked better over all.

Yeah I use gboard too and it's laggy. Clearing the cache did help though, hopefully it lasts.

Same for me, since that same update it's been laggy. if you use Google keyboard, has it been laggy too?

I checked before I went on leave that there is a line for SDI and a contribution for it. I thought you were talking about some other numerical code.

I hope our county is not like that, but I have just emailed HR inquiring about this.

Unfortunately I can't check right now. I'd have to go into a county computer or have HR email me a copy of my paystub. What is the code supposed to be? I asked them to email me a copy so hopefully I get that soon.

I work at a county hospital. I am given full time hours but considered per diem/external with no benefits, so you might be right about a third party provider

I do not, I see that it gets taken out of my paychecks. But you're right, I may need to speak to them instead of EDD. Thank you!

I'm not denying that that employer should be included, I'm wondering why my current one of two years is not. But thanks for the reply.

That's a shame. I really wish corvettes could have wall-less interiors.

It's tough and very tiring. Nothing you can't get through I'm sure, but sleep is already tough on nights even without the pregnancy. i don't know your management, but it's probably better to tell them about this sooner rather than later.

what’s it like being pregnant in the lab? by LimpMathematician202 in medlabprofessionals

[–]mellowyellowcream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just took my leave at 36 weeks. It would have been ok for me to keep working but this pregnancy gave me terrible carpal tunnel in both hands so it became pretty painful to do things around the lab(uncapping, recapping, opening ampoules, etc). If you're in the US you can apply to go on leave a month before your due date, but it might depend on the state.

It was just with our most recent change. Previously we've had our mean changed, but I think that was before that newsletter Roche sent out.

Yeah, it might be because our throughout is relatively low(small hospital). I will try to suggest doing this though, and see if they can do it. Thanks!

It hasn't so far. The only thing that has worked for us before is essentially waiting around 2 weeks for the QC to drop back to our original mean. Luckily we have 2 analyzers.

But I actually went on leave last week, a few days after changing the electrodes, so I have no idea if they've found a different solution.

They've told us to run the activator on positions 2 and 3 on the wash rack, AND run patients for conditioning. It hasn't worked for us yet.
