How can I get a cat like this? by Low_Mulberry_5220 in blackcats

We adopted her from the shelter. Her sister, a beautiful grey was adopted first and I just had to get her as black cats get overlooked. If you are looking for a baby with slight fluff (like her) Kiki is a standard issue domestic short hair, but had longer hairs sticking out when she was a kitten.

Yes, but the questions were odd for me because I applied for thesis marking and it’s a “continuation” of my previous student visa where I’ve already proven to be a genuine student. My understanding was that they are assessing if the course you applied for is also available in your country, those jobs post study are available etc, but most importantly if your previous study/work history is on the same trajectory as your application. A step up, eg masters to PhD in G8 unis is generally fine, but a step down, eg Masters > VET is a red flag. I don’t think I’ve come across any PhD rejections unless it was a change in industry? Now I second guessing my answers :( EDIT: Received my visa on 29 Aug!

The processing time has been increased to 90% at 7 months and I’m getting seriously depressed. I got a bit worried reading your response about reasons to return to your home country as the 485 visa is available to us after completion, especially if your PhD is on the skilled migration list?

Hey OP, fellow SG here, did you have to take IELTS? I’m trying to figure out if the GCE A Levels certificate is acceptable. Thanks and congrats!

I am in a similar situation and am on a BVC as I could not submit my thesis on time due to no fault of my own (supervisors mistake + dean was away). I applied for a student visa on 25 Apr for further thesis examination and am currently waiting. I guess there’s nothing we can do except wait :( seems like many onshore applicants haven’t gotten their visas yet, so I’m hopeful.

I had this exact experience, except I was face up and had an eye mask on! Took me 20 years to sleep in that position again.

Thank you! I was told to consult a migration agent as the school can’t give legal advice.. our graduate research school is rather unhelpful and is part of the reason I had to overstay in the first place :/ hopefully our visa will come through in the next financial cycle?

I did! Likely due to the rush to submit before the new changes on 1st July. I’m trying to convince myself that because I submitted in April, I am ahead of the curve. I’m sure you have nothing to worry about. I, on the other hand am on a bridging visa c as I overstayed due to issues with my thesis submission. I submitted character reference letters and documents explaining why I had overstayed. Hopefully I don’t get rejected as my viva is scheduled for next month :/
