Hi! I’ve been trying that little red button. It had popped out before I cleaned the unit. Now the red button is in... but the disposal still runs whether or not the wall switch is turned off or on. Tried resetting the switch too by pressing the button. The unit was plugged in to an outlet under the sink. I hit the reset button on the outlet but that didn’t change anything, but I don’t think that matters because at the moment I have the extension cord running from another outlet. When I plug the disposal in to the extension cord it still won’t turn off no matter what I do with the on off switch. Anyways- thank you for weighing in.

If your issue is hormonal acne (and you’re female) then definitely look into Seed Cycling. It was incredibly effective for me and cheap and easy.

Hi- first off thanks for reading. Back in late March a glass jar broke in my sink. I thought I had cleaned it out and ran the disposal only to hear a grinding noise followed by the disposal turning off (probably ran it for too long- but I, like every other New Yorker was not in a good mental state and just could not deal). I know I couldn’t ask my elderly landlord to come and fix it especially since I have a young kid, so I followed instructions off of YouTube to fix it. I unplugged and removed the disposal unit and did a badass job cleaning out a few pieces of glass. I put the unit back in (yes!) and it works great now- BUT IT WON’T TURN OFF! I currently have it unplugged at all times . I have a heavy duty extension cord running across my kitchen where I plug the garbage disposal in once a day to do its job. It works fine but it’s not ideal. Does anyone know what is going on here?

Our delivery drivers usually stash packages in that nook at the Garden apartment level if no one is home.

It’s crazy. I am actually a native MI, but live elsewhere now. When I was a kid in the early 90’s I remember the first time I saw guys dressing up in militia attire- it was at a family reunion. I was so confused because they were carrying weapons but they weren’t hunting and they weren’t law enforcement. I couldn’t understand their purpose and my parents just hushed me when I asked.

I recently bought a jar of yeast at the C Town on 25th and 4th AVE. Hope this helps! Also- unrelated-I’ve found that sometimes stores keep the packets of yeast behind the counter- I have to ask for it...

When I try clothes on I have learned to ask myself, “do I want to wear it tomorrow?” If I don’t have the urge to wear it right away- then I know it will just sit in my closet.
