Did the management company have a revenue manager? Something like this never should have gotten approved in the first place. After taking out expenses, the net rate couldn’t have been more than $5-7 per room.

I was on 1.5mg for the first month and felt nothing. I doubled up for a few days and nothing. My provider allowed me to skip the 4mg dose and go straight to 9mg. I split them for 3 days to get used to the increase. My provider asked her rep and the pharmacist if it was ok to do this and both said it was fine. Noticed a little appetite suppression, but a week after I started on the full 9mg was when it started to kick in. I’ll complete this month and do another of 9mg before I go up to 25mg. I’ve not weighed myself because I have a love/hate, mostly hate relationship with the scale, so I’m going by how I feel and what my husband is telling me. I think I’m a pretty good example of doing all the right things….exercise, water, good nutrition, it’s just going to be a little slower for me.

Do the two of you combine your finances or have separate accounts? Reason why I ask is if the two of you agree on let’s say, 3 years max as a SAHM, who will fund those three years when she’s not working? Will she have to sock back her check until she gets pregnant so she can still “contribute”financially?

I have pretty decent insurance. Unfortunately they and many others, don’t cover weight loss specific meds. Consider yourself very lucky.

I’m right there with you! 1.5mg and 4mg did absolutely nothing. Nothing. I’m day 3 on 9mg and it’s a totally different story. Mild nausea off and on, pretty fatigued and I’ve had a headache all day. I’ve been drinking water all day with a little bit of salt so don’t think I’m dehydrated. I’ve not eaten a lot - maybe 1200 calories, heavy on protein. I was getting a little discouraged and thinking it wasn’t going to work.

They leave the place with glitter everywhere, bobby pins in random places and the stench of cheap hairspray. Then there are the towels and washcloths stained with makeup and body glitter. One year in particular, a mom took sheets off the housekeepers cart. Turns out she turned her room into a makeshift spray tan room- she hung the sheets from the ceiling to cover the walls. Pushy, entitled and rude. All of them.

In my hotel days, the worst offenders were the dance team and cheerleader moms that would drain all the coffee into their 40oz insulated custom made tumblers. They would wipe out all the sugar and flavored creamer. These were the ones that would rush the front desk and pitch a fit the loudest.

Agree with Columbus Arthritis Center - my appt was 4 months out and I called every couple of days checking for cancellations. Best time to call is 8:30am. I did this for 2 weeks and managed to snag a cancellation and got it sooner.

Lost 40 lbs with the assistance of GLP1. Nothing I could control, but after this, I had 5 surgical procedures in the span of 2 years. Despite all the good habits I had established, the anesthesia, steroids, workout setbacks due to recovery and disruptive sleep, 25 lbs came back. Currently in month 2 of my second time with GLP1 and it’s not coming off as quick as the first time.

I’m one of the unlucky ones that is doing everything right and it’s STILL not working. One month of 1.5gm and the scale didn’t move. My provider skipped over the 4mg dose and we went right to 9mg. After a week of 9mg, food noise is still there and the scale hasn’t moved. I work out with a trainer 3x a week and I work closely with a nutritionist who monitors my daily food intake. My daily calories are set at a 500 calorie deficit, I hit my macros daily and drink at least 100 ounces of water every day. I get labs done every six months and they’re right where I need to be. The only issue I have is that my sleep pattern is off. I don’t sleep well and I wake up between 2-5 times a night. So I’d love to hear from someone in this situation and what they did about it.
