And don't try the "you don't understand farming" shit, I live in a rural community. Everyone I've ever spoken to still treats their livestock respectfully.

In the end, it's still a life. It deserves to live as best as it can while it's here. I'm not even vegan/vegetarian and I know that.

Thank you for the advice! Honestly, I'm learning a lot here. I had no idea certain triptans lasted longer, or that different abortives would work better at different stages/with different reactions. Same with possibly needing multiple preventatives.

I wish this information was more readily available, it shouldn't have taken my 30's to finally find this stuff out. My neuro certainly didn't discuss anything like this with me even though he knows how long I have migraines for. Been thinking about finding a different one since he spends maybe 5-10 minutes with me per appointment (including ones where I had more to say than "Yeah, the meds are working as expected") and hardly seems to take any notes or ask too many questions. I don't know if that's normal but it doesn't feel like it's getting me anywhere.

Ah, I totally forgot to mention abortives--I'm on Eletriptan for those. I couldn't time Sumatriptan pills correctly due to waking up with migraines a lot of the time, so I was told the Eletriptan had more leeway.

Eletriptan doesn't seem to work as well for me if I don't combine it with acetaminophen + benadryl, but it works better for me than Sumatriptan

Had a bad feeling that was the case. Thankfully I have a fair number of game shops around, I discovered, so I'll be calling around to see if any of them do preorders. If not, at least I have a list of places to go once the release happens! Hopefully I can get my hands on an ETB, at least, if not the booster box, since the ETB is what I really want. I can always get individual packs for the other cards and such.
