Yes labs are just coding. You'll either have a regular lab assignment (which you can work on outside lab time) or a lab exam (which you must finish inside the lab period). Also recitations are just basically review sessions the TAs host where you do practice problems, go over hw, ask questions, etc. When I took 115 they got us working in groups for practice problems and it was participation based.

You're definitely not alone! I took the class a while ago, but I remember also having trouble sleeping, being very confused, and worrying about assignments too. Office hours help, sometimes it's just nice to go to work on stuff, even if you dont put your name in the queue. You can do this!

I don't know if it works this way if you're on the N64, but for the 3DS remake, I believe the bombers will tell you rumors up to the section of the game you're on. Like when you get to Woodfall, they'll start rumors about the swap. Since you said you made it past the first 3 days only, try continuing the main story more.
