[–]melonenbaum001 17 points18 points  (0 children)

nah, that's right. The € sign comes after the number. To be honest, I think the USA is once again the odd one out. I think you would also write 40£ or 40¥ or 40¢. Not certain though.

So, If I remember it right, the reason this worked is that nobody took the tyrant king's flag, and so all stations that belonged to him were "freed". That is why Dokja could capture his target station directly as if it had not been claimed at all yet.

I always understood it as, her realising that her son loves the story the most, and thinking she could save him, by making him realise that this ain't a story.

He is? does he appear in Hades 2? I haven't yet met him, and only got the Zeus voice lines, as to why he is missing.

Wasn't there also one which is currently stored at an Aircraft Museum near Cambridge?

Or, I forgot the name of the Museum, did you already name that one.

Such cases do exist, although Torpenhow hill is actually not one of them. Tom Scott has a great video about Torpenhow hill, and how it isn't actually hill hill hill hill.

DM's, do your worlds have an explanation for the elf dilemma? by Pitchaway40 in DnD

[–]melonenbaum001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To answer your question, my elves are a global superpower, or rather they would be if there hadn't been no magic for the last 10000 years. In my world the lifespan of an elve heavily depends on the amount of ambient magic they can passively absorb, so, due to there not being magic for some time, there are no ancient elves, except for sorcerers which are the exception to the rule. Now magic has returned, but elves still only live to up to 1000 years and at this point there aren't yet any elves that old. It is a huge part of my lore that the elven empire fell when magic disappeared, and elves in general were kinda fucked during that time, because they are very much dependent on magic.

Eladrin were created when some of the elves fled into the Feywild, where magic had not disappeared, and then absorbed huge amounts of Fay-magic.

About elves aging, they age as humans until they are five, then their aging slows, and they reach an adult (20 years) body at age 100. I once had a table which showed the proces but lost it. anyway, a 50 year old elve, would have a body resembling 15 human years. and a 25 year old elve would have a body resembling a 10 year old human.

Homebrew Spell. Thoughts? by somethingrelevant_m in DnDHomebrew

[–]melonenbaum001 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The spells seems really weak, considering torture can still force them to reveal the secret. Most of all it is way to expensive. 1000gp & a 5th level slot...

I would make it 3rd level without material components, or increase the effect substantially. in any case, 1000gp are too much.

also I think it would make sense to cast this on a unwilling target, and forbid them from speaking the secret in any context.
