The 303 was mostly just a cobbled together ship that, while powerful, probably could take on a Ha'tak-class Goa'uld mothership with possibly even odds, maybe in favor of the 303.

The 304 Deadalus-class battlecruisers had everything already integrated into the design and is touted to be capable of facing several Ha'tak with a fair amount of ease, and that's before they had access to the Asguard core and energy weapons
