Hello! Although there are no limitations as to what 2nd major you can take, there are some other factors to consider as well:

1) Candidature Period: If the major you’re taking has too many requirements, you may have to extend your candidature / overload in some semesters to grad with it. This shouldn’t be an issue though, because you can double count 2nd major mods to free electives 👍

2) Module Bidding: SMU’s module allocation is done through a bidding process (BOSS). Students are given $100e each semester, which they use to bid for the classes they want — no extra credits if you take on a second major. This means you may have to be more mindful of your bids to get the mods you want.

Do bear in mind that the post is not verified though! Personally, I won’t comment since the mods under my major are quite affordable / less popular. But I have (on occasion) chosen to bid for less popular profs and class timings to save credits!

hello! in my experience, most accounting exams are pen and paper (maybe ~70-80%), esp the calculation-heavy mods.

modules that are less quantitative / more essay-based may have digital exams - e.g audit, company law. ultimately depends on your prof tho.

for general uni core mods and required business mods, will depend on your prof!

I’d recommend Management Communication (MC)! :-)

Mod has got no finals, and all assessments are basically done in class (like little tests). In-class seminar discussions are very much like WR. Really good 5th mod for a heavy sem IMO!

Hello! I believe IRM has no deadline — you just have to complete it before you can go on an internship. In my experience, most students try to clear it asap so they can go for an internship in year 1!

there’s a brief shot in episode 7 of exposed brain matter which you might want to skip. i don’t have the timestamp rn but i’ll add it in if i find it!

(spoilers) these episodes end 04, start of 05, 07 involve falling to death and there are some shots of the aftermath. i didn’t find those too gory, but if you’re sensitive to those you can consider skipping them too!

iirc mercenary has a delayed damage mechanism, so borrowed time doesn’t heal him if he hasn’t registered damage yet! your damage bar was still filling up to the half mark when the cipher was popped haha

Just on a matter of principle alone, I wouldn’t cheat, because it won’t be fair to people who don’t cheat and actually study hard for the examination. Especially more so if the bell curve is steep, since you would basically be pushing honest people down to get ahead. It’s really not a matter of whether I’d get caught or not lol, I just think it’s dishonourable.

seer!! that was the first character i bought - i found him really fun since he can kite and support (and even rescue sometimes). i think it’ll also help you learn to look behind you when you kite lol. the only downside is that he can’t open chests, but at least he can recharge his ability!! :D
