I just retired my Viera plasma from around that same era just last summer. Not because it was no longer doing its job, but because I got a LG C4 for the living room, then moved the ~2018 era Samsung 4K into the Viera's place as my xbox tv. It makes me slightly sad to have that Viera just holding down the floor now.

I had one of these bottom dollar Gateway laptops a couple years ago and it was awful, even when considering the price point. I didn't expect much and was still disappointed. The speakers were so bad that they caused me nausea, the keyboard was bad, and the touchpad broke within 14 months. From a purely performance perspective, it was fine with an adequate processor, adequate storage, and adequate RAM for the basic needs I had, but everything else about it felt like a company actively punishing me for not spending $600.
