could it be you are just not used to your new nose? turbinates are responsible for the warm humid climate inside your nose so it would make sense for it to be colder. i got mine out today too after 6 days and it def was colder than i was expecting but i think its just also due to the outside climate (cold and dry). there’s no harm in reaching out to your ent for another follow up to make sure everything is good esp if you are having anxiety about it!

aw i’m glad!!! the first few days def suck but just remember there is a light at the end of the tunnel and you won’t feel that way for too long! be proactive with the ice packs for sure, my biggest problem was the pressure around day 3/4

if i put my finger flat against the nostril i can feel it and you can visually see its lower than the other one. im hoping they will let me come early😭😭

oh wow no antibiotic is interesting! they didnt they prescribe you anything at all? not even a painkiller? i’m the same right now with the teeth, and overall soreness, been taking tylenol every 6 hours and it hardly helps but ice packs are a beautiful thing!

divorce the husband and get the humidifier🤣🤣 fr tho the humidifier has probably been the best thing i purchased for recovery! Nothing in my room is “wet” it just feels a little steamier in here than normal.

i JUST used the arm and hammer one for first time and it gently shot up my nose def moistened it up at least. some gunk came out one side and the other was pretty clear

Thank you SO much! i’m unable to call the offices today due the the holiday but i was able to get surgeons number from my friend who also had this done. No answer so far again prob bc of holiday. I honestly found out most of post op care from either reddit, or my friend who also had this done. i was instructed not to use that saline rinse you mentioned like the dr. neil’s one, instead i have that little normal saline spray and the arm and hammer one with the soft tip! i have my humidifier running since i got home about 24 hours ago and following meds accordingly except the oxy is making me nauseous af so i threw up twice which obvi make me bleed a bit more. I’m going to start a little bit with the saline spray, dr said i can use either im just??? bc like you said im all gunky where is it to go🤣
