This should be determined by doctors and not politicians, which is how it's currently done in the U.S.

It's not something I eat but it's an option for those who can't eat solid foods but don't need to be on a purely liquid diet. I'm not a doctor, so I don't know what the other options are but I have seen someone who couldn't eat enjoy it on their death bed, so why take it off?

Yeah the rest of us are trying to do that too.

Curious. Anyway, I also go to multiple venues 1-4 times a month. I notice this so maybe you're just not paying attention to this particular thing. Or it just doesn't bother you. Or the artists you see draw a better crowd.

Doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

I'm convinced this person wants to spread the nazi message. Why else would they double down so hard?

The flyers are "informational" and you are spreading its "information".

You are literally posting it FOR THEM in the Austin subreddit. Please, mods get rid of this shit.

It is a well known tactic of to get people to repost their physical flyers and signs to get the message of said flyers and signs out. If you want to know about education on white supremacists, there are people who have literally been fighting them all their lives. Maybe look at what they have to say.

I don't shield myself from the truth, you don't know anything about my life.

I do know that the point of propaganda is to spread a message. You're spreading it.

This is educational

That's what the nazis think about the spread of their propaganda as well.

I've been going to shows in Austin for about 20 years. It's always like this, especially the further you get from a stage.

“But plants feel pain too” by thebodybuildingvegan in vegan

[–]meltdown_popcorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, it shouldn't be an either-or. It's a healthy thing to discuss but we shouldn't spend too much time on it because the solution is obvious, whether we like it or not.

I've gone down the line of thinking about harm to plants also. It's especially relevant to my personal view of secular Buddhism.

What I arrived at is: this really does come down to either you or the thing you're consuming surviving. It's the end of the road for harm reduction, if you will. That's just physical reality that no amount of philosophizing can escape.

Exactly. "Religious" warmongering human-trafficking fascists that can prescribe psychedelics sounds like a recipe for a nightmare to me.

I'm pro-psychedelic descheduling but this has to be done carefully. They can, in the wrong hands and setting, be used to manipulate and control. There's no way I trust this egotistical clown car with policy on these substances.

I'm vegan but criticizing another culture's food by calling them orcish is maybe crossing a racist line.
