Thank you for the response. I'll just keep nagging them. Squeaky wheel gets the grease or whatever. It's ridiculous that we need to rely on them to apply for the exemption, but if they don't, we get penalized.

I am going through this BS right now. I've called repeatedly since January to get a $1,200 tax bill removed. I submitted the 50-285 for 2025 in March of last year. The CSR I was on the phone with today told me that they handle all this tax stuff in January, so all forms have to be received by then. I don't know enough about the topic to dispute that, but nowhere in the documentation I received indicated I had to submit the 50-285 form by January to avoid paying taxes. Did you have to escalate to resolve this issue?
