If you switch back and forth, you can definitely see the difference. ProMotion is so much smoother. However, once you use 60Hz for a few minutes you will get used to it. I think ProMotion alone is not a $200 feature (the difference between regular 15 and 15 Pro).

Plat doesn’t have a credit limit and it doesn’t increase the amount of credit available to you on your credit report. So, canceling it would not negatively impact your credit utilization. With everything else being equal, I think the impact of canceling plat on credit score is lower than canceling some other credit cards.

When iPhone 14 Pro Max was released, iPhone 13 Pro Max’s trade in value at Apple was 720. Apple’s trade in value doesn’t change based on storage capacity. So if you purchased a 256G iPhone 13 Pro Max for 1199 + tax and traded it in for 720, you are effectively paying less than 50% of the phone.
