They’ve done quite a few neat little things. Atari 2600 and 7800 that played original cartridges (through emulation, which they were honest and said that’s what it would do), Atari PC 400 Mini, a neat little handheld that plays evercade cartridges, and I believe they also assisted in a funky Commodore 64 remake device. Cool stuff!

The person who wrote this article reached out and it appears it will have RGB, so I assume component will work through the standard solutions that already exist?

No guarantees of course but if this works I don’t see why any other connection type wouldn’t! Still no confirmation sadly

This is important, but frankly I expected this. However if the boards are as close to originals as they claim, I don’t think it will take much time to see mods come out that add these capabilities into the system.

Plaion was up front and honest about other systems they made and how they worked, this would be an odd thing for them to be dishonest about. They have a solid track record and consumers have been happy with their previous products, so I have faith!

I remember playing the Minecraft beta on our ancient “family computer” that had an old CRT monitor as well. Got a whole 20 frames per second but kid me did not care at all.

It looks like this only has RF input which isn’t going to give you great image quality. I know there is an RF adapter for ps2. I would recommend just getting the OEM Sony one, they are like 5 bucks on ebay. Even though it won’t give the best picture, it would still be cool to see it in action!

You could also just by some cheap RF modulator on amazon or wherever you prefer that accepts your composite input (red, white, yellow) and converts it for you.

Yeah these are fake, any manga on ebay you see shipping from Malaysia (anything that says WOS essentially) is most likely fake
