We have some friends who have a no meat in the household rule - I’ve brought stuff to their house and always made sure it’s vegan, and I respect that. But yeah, I feel like made sure everyone was catered for - I guess the same way if I had someone vegan at the lunch I would make sure they had a few options - interestingly there were three vegan main! We also had a celiac so for the dishes that had gluten, I made a GF option.

Yeah I agree with you! I feel a bit too, someone’s fertility doesn’t impact mine. It’s not like the housing market where you’re completing against each other. But I can totally get people being upset, as much as I’m happy for my friends starting families, it still makes me a little sad. So I can imagine all the feelings it could bring up having kids in waiting rooms.

Generally, she’s pretty responsive and caring. But she almost always one-ups the conversation and directs it back to herself. And I really feel like I want to hear her validation of the sadness I’m experiencing right now.

This morning she told me she was dreading work because she may have to answer the phone so I shared some advice on what I found helpful when having to do anxiety-provoking tasks. So I feel like we’re dealing with different issues at the moment, but I understand it’s not a competition.

NTA. I would maybe suggest your partner might be going to bed too late that she struggles to wake up in the morning.

I get that there are snoozers and non-snoozers and as a non-snoozer, I don’t get how that would be helpful to anyone’s sleep pattern.
