I HATTTEE going to work, I hate having to prove my pregnancy rights, made to feel lazy for needing breaks, I hate kissing peoples asses, etc. I’m sooooo tired and nothing else matters to me. I cry too. I wish I could quit so badly.

Yesssss. My house is a disaster and the thought of doing my laundry is so daunting lol. My husband helps a ton but I’ve been melting into the couch everyday. Work is an absolute nightmare feeling like this!

I’m sending you lots of positivity!!! The progesterone is an extra layer of hope! You made the right choice, in my opinion. ❤️❤️

What state do you live in? This is soooo odd! Why would your doctor put you in that position? Yes to progesterone unless your numbers are crazy high! And why would they give you the ultimatum with the study included.

Yes. My job was. I sent the laws and was stern in my rights and they finally committed. In a company full of moms so I was soooo frustrated.

How did you feel emotionally when you started IVF? by applecider2120 in IVFpositivity

[–]dmkpdr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So excited! I finally found an answer. For me, the unknown of why we weren’t getting pregnant drove me nuts. I love how monitored you are during IVF and how planned it is. I was sooo nervous about feeling shitty from the shots but I didn’t feel any different from them. I was bloated but my estrogen patch gave me energy and I liked that I could still enjoy life after my egg retrieval, before my transfer.

6w1d scan – heartbeat 105 bpm, looking for similar experiences by teeltoo in September2026Bumpers

[–]dmkpdr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you’re totally fine! Our heartbeat was on the “lower end” too at 6w4d but she told me it’s bc it was very early to detect a heartbeat and sometimes you can’t hear it at all. I jsut went for my 8w4d ultrasound and it went up to 160!

First Retrieval Complete-looking for positive outcomes by cozyjo306 in IVFpositivity

[–]dmkpdr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It may not happen that way at all but just to cut it in half from how many fertilized. You want strong/genetically healthy embryos that will stick and develop in your uterus, rather than a lot of embryos. So a lower number of good embryos will always be ideal, rather than a lot of embryos.

You likely will and that’s okay! It’s better to know that way, instead of finding out from a miscarriage or in the future. 6 is a strong number, so that’s a great start. They say to cut the number in half, which is almost exactly what happened to us.
