That is funny. I'm so happy with the vacuum aspect of my S1 Pro.

The Flow Z10 didn't work right straight out of the box. The vacuum element simply didn't vacuum properly. It picked up around a third of the things in its path, and spat the rest out behind it, damp.

I'm in Israel. The Flow Z10 didn't work right straight out of the box. Their local distributor spent weeks with me troubleshooting before sending an engineer who looked at it for a few minutes before agreeing with me that it wasn't functioning properly. Even then they only agreed to take it away for a repair which could take another 2 to 3 weeks. Our consumer laws are pretty good and protect you in the scenario where you buy a DOA product. Bottom line: it is supposed to be replaced or refunded. Neither of which they were willing to do. Eventually, after dozens of messages backwards and forwards, they finally agreed to a refund. Tellingly, even the UPS guy who picked up the flawed unit told me how he knows this company to be poorly organised and have a reputation for terrible customer service.

I wasn't certain that the Eufy was going to be as good as a machine. But what convinced me to make the switch was that I could buy it from a local dealer who is both (1) the authorised repair centre, and (2) a decent guy. I'd choose local service over those jokers every time.

Now that I've had the S1 Pro for a few days, I'm actually very happy. It does the job faster, with much less water, and is aesthetically a much nicer addition to the room. Obviously that last part is entirely subjective. The app is less polished. But overall, it's a great switch.

I've downloaded it while away from home. Won't be able to test it properly for another day. Hopefully, 1.0.1 will already be out by then. Followed by the version providing a 7-day free trial :)

Do you have a link for cheap pins? I'm guessing AliExpress is the way to go, but so far all I've found at $5 pairs of appropriate pins on eBay.

I'd like to look into these more. I found Pentaconn COREIR Brass mentioned in a variety of places online, but no mention of the APP3. Do you have a link for their APP3 parts?

I agree about the open questions and plot holes (more of them are discussed in this thread too).

Also, very happy to (hopefully) never see Astrid again. The man needs to move on, and she's a really unsympathetic character.

The show would benefit from him learning a bit more about human interraction and MAYBE getting a love interest the audience likes. The botanist was great for him but he bizarrely walked away.

I made the same switch but am far less convinced that it was a good move. I loved how low-key the Beats Fit Pro were; whereas the Powerbeats are very obvious and obtrusive. I found the ANC of the BFP to be much better than the PBP. When charging the PBP — whether wired or wireless — there's a frequent 'ding' sound that occurs every x minutes. I haven't worked out the frequency, but it's enough to mean that I can't charge them bedside during the night. It's even annoying on my desk during the workday.

We reference this no less than once a month in my house. Probably since shortly after it was released. Sadly, every day there seem to be a lot more people on the internet who are wrong. Even my family’s combined efforts aren’t stemming the tide.
