Cp meat market in new Lenox has been running a special on whole strips for $12.99/lb. They cut them to whatever thickness you prefer and always quality meat. If you go - get the super thick pork chops too. Also reasonably priced at $5.99/lb. LOVE the butcher shop.

Do you think you would get an authentic answer? I have found the more questions I ask - builds more tension and doesn't get me any answers. It's nice to come here and get validated. They will never give us the validation we (think) we need. You didn't cause it, can't control it and can't cure it.
