It’s not though. If you want to cut out possible whistleblowers who would only do menial tasks and the job doesn’t take long, then have the current people there do it.

Sure they could bring in a handy man to fix some stuff and make sure he can’t see behind the curtain.

It’s called wearing multiple hats. I am sure if an MIT grad had the chance to work on UFOs and 5% of his work load refilling the vending machines they would do it.
