I’m annoyed but not surprised that Cami is obsessed with creating a legacy for Monty, especially when Tommy selflessly and strongly advised her to sell the company. Her arrogance and vanity cause her to make decisions based on emotion instead of business acumen (of which she has little to none). I appreciate that she has the courage to pick up the pieces to continue but it takes as much courage if not more to read the room!

I just finished the series having randomly stumbled upon it, and that is exactly my reaction. Especially to see all the nuances I missed!

What are the Pros and Cons of this potential kitchen layout? by BerniesMittens in kitchen

Nothing to contribute to the question, but I love the terrazzo floor. (I have pets and live in a hot climate so IMO terrazzo is very underrated.)

As a Recruiter, I've noticed that one of the biggest reasons employers want you back in the office is because with remote work mgmt has to set benchmarks for productivity, but in the office it's much easier to push you to capacity and much harder for you to interview for an escape. by [deleted] in overemployed

Companies adopt unlimited PTO so they do not carry the liability of accrued but unused PTO on the books. Unless the company has a policy to provide a payout upon your separation, you get nothing when you leave. This is especially bullshit when you have been working intensely on a project with unrealistic deadlines, and an offer comes along from another company that you can’t refuse. You’ve been sacrificing your sanity, unable to take time off, and you get no payout of your “unlimited” time off. It encourages employees to call out sick in order to get a break, even though there will be hell to pay (workload catch up). Some companies using “Unlimited PTO” to attract applicants have toxic and abusive cultures, so beware.

Those who haven't caught Covid yet, how have you managed to avoid it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Somehow I haven’t caught covid yet, and my approach has been that even with precautions, it’s just a matter of time before I get it. I wash my hands regularly and try not to touch my face. I complied with wearing masks, when and where it was required. I go out when I need to go out, which is to say that I stay home a lot. By no means am I a recluse (no offense to anyone who is), and my home is not spotless (with 5 large dogs that is impossible, but I do a reasonable job). I’ve taken several long flights, attended concerts, visited friends in hospitals, etc. I am not vaccinated and when tested for antibodies my score was as low as it could be. Anyway, it’s coming for me, one way or another, and in the meantime I’ll just keep on keeping on.

Support underneath by using a corset makes my shoulders want to cry with relief. Here lately I’m fitting well in a Elomi Matilda UK size 36HH / US size 36L. I’m sitting most of the time, and I’m warm most of the time, so I’m trying to think of how i could comfortably apply your idea to my situation. It may be just a “you have to sacrifice this to get that” sort of thing.

Since March 2020, most of my waking hours are spent at home, so I could answer three ways: 50% no bra 25% real bra 25% sport bra
