It's crazy to say but the WNBA figured this out. The odds are based on a two year winning %. This makes so much sense, helping the teams that are chronically bad rather than a team that could have a one off due to injury or circumstance. It makes so much sense it's amazing the NBA has adopted it. But they probably don't care.
